Cleveland Golf Finishes 1-2-3 at Greenbrier Classic


(HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA) – Cleveland Golf/Srixon congratulates staffers Ted Potter, Jr., Troy Kelly and Charlie Beljan for finishing first, second and third, respectively, at the PGA Tour’s 2012 Greenbrier Classic. Potter, a PGA Tour rookie, earned his first career victory over Kelly with a birdie on the third hole of a sudden-death playoff.  Potter had finished regulation play with an eagle and birdie on the final two holes to post 16-under 264 and tie Kelly.

Potter played a Cleveland Classic Tour driver (10.5°) with a Miyazaki Kusala Black 61X shaft, a Cleveland Launcher Composite fairway wood (15°), Cleveland Mashie hybrids (18° & 20.5°), Cleveland CG1 Tour irons (4-PW) and Cleveland 588 Forged wedges (54° & 60°).

Kelly played a Cleveland Classic 290 driver (10.5°) with a Miyazaki Kusala Silver 61X shaft, Cleveland CG7 Gold irons (5-PW) and Cleveland 588 Forged wedges (50°, 56° & 60°).

Beljan, who finished the event tied for third, played a Cleveland Classic 290 driver with a Miyazaki C. Kua 59X shaft, Cleveland 588 Forged irons (3-PW), Cleveland 588 Forged wedges (52°, 56° & 60°) and a new Srixon Z-STAR 3 prototype.

“This is a fantastic win for Ted and an amazing finish for all three of these exciting players.
