Saddle Creek Resort Extends ‘Two-for-One Stay and Play Package’ through August

(COPPEROPOLIS, Calif.) – Saddle Creek Resort – the Castle & Cooke golf community in the Sierra Nevada foothills of Calaveras County – is extending its “Two-for-One Stay and Play Package.”

The highly sought after package includes two nights (double occupancy); two rounds of world-class golf; complimentary breakfast and cart fees; unlimited range balls; and access to the resort’s Sports Club, which houses a junior Olympic-size lap pool, workout equipment, tennis and bocce ball courts and a horse shoe pit.

Rates start at $309 midweek (Monday – Thursday) and $409 weekend (Friday – Sunday) per person, through August 31. Saddle Creek is located two hours from the Bay Area and 1.5 hours from Sacramento.

“The ‘Two-for-One Stay and Play Package’ in the Sierra foothills is ideal for golf buddy trips or couples searching for a romantic getaway,” says Bob Higgins, Saddle Creek General Manager. “Avid and recreational golfers will be impressed with an elite golf experience, vistas of nearby Yosemite National Park, luxurious accommodations and fine dining at a great price.”

Situated along the first and ninth holes, the bungalows are equipped with a full kitchen and dining area, complimentary Wi-Fi, and a living room with cozy fireplace and satellite TV. Saddle Creek Resort’s miles of hiking and biking trails are steps away from the cottages.

Saddle Creek Resort is widely recognized for its award-winning cuisine at the Copper Grille — located in the clubhouse and featuring more than 500 wines including the highly-praised local Petit Syrah.
