KemperSports Promotes Doug Hellman, Dave Goltz

(NORTHBROOK, Ill.) – KemperSports, a leading golf course management company, recently announced two promotions of key people. Doug Hellman has been promoted to senior vice president of business development and Dave Goltz to vice president and corporate counsel. These promotions follow a successful year for KemperSports in 2011, in which the company expanded its management services and added more than 10 new facilities to its portfolio of properties.

“The continued success of KemperSports is a direct result of our talented and dedicated staff,” said Steve Skinner, chief executive officer of KemperSports. “We are proud to recognize the work of Doug and Dave through their recent promotions, and we look forward to growing our business.”

Since joining KemperSports in 2005, Doug Hellman has built a reputation for developing exceptional client relationships and expanding the company’s third party management business. In 2011, Hellman was responsible for the addition of several new facilities to the KemperSports portfolio, including Ramblewood Country Club in Mount Laurel, N.J., The ACE Club in Lafayette Hill, Pa. and Stonebridge Golf Club of New Orleans in Gretna, La. As senior vice president, Hellman will continue to play a lead role in new business strategy and growth. Hellman holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Connecticut, Storrs and graduate degrees from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Dave Goltz joined KemperSports in 2011 and in his short time with the company has proved to be a valuable asset by consulting on legal and business affairs. With more than 20 years of experience in the private sector and in-house, Goltz has extensive knowledge in employment law, human resources management, risk management and administration for both large and small organizations. In this new position, Goltz will oversee KemperSports’ human resource department to enhance the company’s staff development and training programs, while continuing to provide legal counsel. Goltz is an Evans Scholar alumnus and received a Bachelor of Arts in communications from the University of Michigan, and earned his law degree from Wayne State University.
