Shadow Ridge Golf Club Recognized Among Golfweek's 2012 Best Resort Courses

(ORLANDO, Fla.) - Marriott Golf, one of the world's premier golf operators, today announced that Shadow Ridge Golf Club in Palm Desert, Calif., was ranked as No. 96 on Golfweek's prestigious Best Resort Courses list for 2012, according to Golfweek's Ultimate Guide to Golf Course Living and Great Escapes.

Golfweek's 2012 rankings are part of the magazine's seventh annual issue, dedicated to highlighting top courses while covering aspects of golf travel, architecture and real estate. In addition to the Best Resort Courses, the issue also features Best Residential Courses and Caribbean/Mexico Courses lists, all established by Golfweek's highly respected rating system. Every year, Golfweek's nationwide team of course raters, which currently boasts 705 evaluators, surveys more than 3,000 courses - rating each nominated course on the basis of Golfweek's 10 strict standards of evaluation.
