Doral Receives First Shipment of AHEAD's New Performance Headwear for 2012

(NEW BEDFORD, Mass.) - Doral Resort and Spa in Miami, Fla. is the first AHEAD customer to receive the new 2012 performance headwear line. Just in time for the busy holiday season in South Florida, the new styles of caps and visors by AHEAD are designed to keep golfers dry, cool and comfortable both on and off the course.

"Doral has been a long time partner with Ahead and they understand what a collection of headwear can do for their sales," said Jeff Waller, national sales director. "They have done an outstanding job with displaying and selling the Ahead collection. Doral's seasonality and 5-star legendary facility made it the perfect place to introduce our new 2012 headwear to the public. It features performance fabrics that are breathable, lightweight and moisture wicking, giving golfers more than just protection from the sun but also keeping them cool and dry."

The new tech headwear that Doral offers includes nylon blended caps and visors plus polyester waffle caps and visors all featuring moisture wicking properties for dry, cool comfort.

"Ahead has always been our primary headwear vendor," said Tonya Morrow, retail director of Doral Resort and Spa. "Ahead's headwear designs are the best in the industry. Being in South Florida we are so pleased to see Ahead offering so many new performance driven hats. The styles and colors are wonderful and sure to increase our sales."

Each AHEAD cap has a classic cut with six-panel crown, pre-curved bill and Velcro closure tab. The caps are available in multiple color combinations and with the Doral logo on the front and commemorative 50 year logo on right size of the caps. The visors feature a 2.4 inch mid-rise, pre-curved bill and Velcro closure tab also with the Doral logo on the front panel. They are available in multiple color combinations.

Doral headwear by AHEAD is available at the resort's golf shop or online golf shop at www.doralresort.com.
