Club Glove Launches Pocket Towel in Tandem Packaging as Gift with Purchase of Microfiber Caddy Towel

Demanded by Tour Pros and Caddies, Golf Industry's Best-Performing Towel Outshines Competition

(HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA) - Club Glove - a designer and manufacturer of premium golf bags, club covers, travel bags, accessories and luggage - introduces its Pocket Towel in a tandem package as a gift with purchase of the company's renowned microfiber Caddy Towel that's preferred by more Tour players and caddies than any other brand.

A $10 value, the Pocket Towel measures 8 inches by 12 inches and is perfectly unobtrusive in a back pocket when conditions are damp and it's essential to clean your clubs and ball.

Easily distinguishable on television at all PGA Tour events by the waffle texture and stitched trim, the towels are strong enough to remove dirt, grease and sunblock off a player's hands, yet gentle enough to safely clean eyeglasses. The pro-sized Club Glove Caddy Towel (MSRP $19.95) has more than 5 million yards of microfiber strands, giving it the ability to hold 300 percent of its weight in water.

Both ultra-lightweight towels are super absorbent and virtually lint free. They are available at hundreds of the finest public and private facilities nationwide, as well as scores of PGA and Champions Tour events. Major retailers carrying Club Glove's industry-leading towels include Golf Galaxy, Golfsmith, PGA Tour Superstores, Edwin Watts and Worldwide Golf.

"There are so many things I could say about this towel, but I'll make it simple: It's the perfect golf towel," says PGA Tour star Chris DiMarco.

"As anyone who's used a competitor's towel can attest, the performance that's inherent to our products is often imitated but never duplicated," adds company founder Jeff Herold. "That's why Club Glove towels are used and trusted by the world's best Tour players and their caddies."

Club Glove is also the undisputed No. 1 golf travel bag brand at all PGA and Champions Tour events. The Darrell Survey confirmed that the brand is preferred by 90 percent of PGA Tour Players. Selected by six U.S. Ryder Cup teams, Club Glove's high-end, Made-in-the-USA golf bags have been a fixture at green grass and off course shops for nearly a decade and are available in stand, cart and Sunday versions.

Fourteen Golf ships award winning MT-28 V5 T.S. Wedge into retail

(IRVINE, Calif.) - Fourteen Golf announced that its new MT-28 V5 T.S. Wedge is now available in retail.

The Golf Digest 2011 "Hot List" recipient MT-28 V5 T.S. Wedge has been widely accepted and supported by the media. Consumers have had an opportunity to read about this innovative wedge but now they can experience firsthand the feel of a tour inspired wedge and the benefits it provides.

According to Fourteen Golf COO Marcy Kamoda, "Golfers will be inspired by the new award winning MT-28 V5 T.S. wedges. They produce exceptional spin with precision and control. These all-important characteristics contributed to the 'Hot List' award. We encourage those who want better command around the greens to try them."

Fourteen Golf continues to expand its retail chain of distribution. The new MT-28 V5 T.S. Wedges are available in golf specialty stores like Roger Dunn, Golfers Warehouse, Golf Mart, Vans and more. To find a Fourteen Golf retailer, visit the company website at www.fourteengolf.com and click on the retail locator heading.

The highly engineered MT-28V5 T.S. Wedge Series was developed with extraordinary feedback garnered from today's top professionals. This input helped the design team to produce a wedge that promotes versatility. Whether playing a full or half shot these wedges promote stability and precision.

This classically designed wedge features an enhanced signature Fourteen Golf "reverse taper design." It has been improved by adding a groove strategically located in between the club sole and blade portion of the wedge. This structural change allowed the engineers to move the CG to a higher more stabilizing position for more precise shots.

The new MT-28 V5 T.S. Wedge is also available in two distinct types of soles.

(New H Sole) The H Sole has been engineered for variety and control. Its entire sole portion is flat with a slight heel and toe relief to enable shot management in any type of situation.

(New M Sole) This professionally inspired and tested sole features a slight ridge on the bottom center of the sole. This precisely positioned crest optimizes the M Sole. When a golfer opens the club face it utilizes the back portion of the sole while closing the face uses the front sole portion. This newly appointed element or modification provides easy control of the club face and optimizes the bounce.

In preparation for the new groove rule, the company spent years engineering a new trapezoidal shaped groove so this wedge as well as the entire product line-up of Fourteen Golf would be in compliance with the new regulations effective in 2010 for the professional tours and 2014 for amateurs and tournaments.

The MT-28 V5 T.S. Wedge Series is available in lofts 48-degrees through 60-degrees and with a black finish.

Nike VR Pro Wedge: X3X High-frequency Grooves offer more Precision, Consistency

Nike’s new VR Pro wedge has undergone precision forging to ensure consistency, Tour proven craftsmanship for the top players in the world

(BEAVERTON, Ore.) - Nike Golf continues to lead in innovation with the addition of the new Nike VR Pro wedge to Nike’s successful VR Pro line. The VR Pro wedges are developed out of a precise forging process resulting in a wedge that offers accurate shot-shaping performance. The face of the VR Pro wedge is the most exact wedge face Nike has ever created. From materials, to design, to construction, the VR Pro wedge is developed with true craftsmanship to eliminate variance and enhance control.

Each wedge face features more grooves, resulting in cleaner, more consistent ball flight and spin while still conforming to the new USGA and R&A rules. With more grooves closer together and deeper on the clubface, the VR Pro wedge ensures more control and consistency in all conditions off of the clubface. A precision laser crosshatch pattern is applied to the land area between the grooves. This pattern adds three times the surface texture versus conventionally finished faces, creating more spin in all conditions.

Crafted for consistency that Nike Golf Tour Athletes demand, the VR Pro wedge utilizes a new precision-forging technique that immediately delivers the club to a near-finished level. This precision-forging technique eliminates most hand work and ensures consistency and maximum performance throughout the set. First, each iron face is milled to a perfectly flat surface. The face is then carefully die-stamped, pressing grooves to exact specifications for extremely low variance and shot-making consistency.

The VR Pro wedge is already in the bags of Nike Athletes on the PGA Tour, including Stewart Cink, Anthony Kim, Francesco Molinari and Tiger Woods.

Tef Tee Poised for Retail Roll-Out Riding High on Tour Successes

TEF TEE, the world's only Teflon-coated golf tee, is preparing to roll product out to retail stores riding a wave of successes on the PGA tour.

In just eight weeks since initial presentations to tour pros at the 2011 Bob Hope Classic, TEF TEE has racked up some impressive results, including:
A. a PGA tour win
B. 2 of top 6 at Doral
C. 3 of top 7 at Puerto Rico Open
D. 12 percent of the elite field at WGC
E. 3 of top 10 leaders in driving distance on Champions Tour

"The pros are voting with their drivers," said Greg MacKeen, inventor of TEF TEE high performance golf tees. "At Doral, over 1200 tees were gobbled up by pros wanting to try the tee." According to veteran manufacturer's rep Ken MacDonald, "We definitely were surprised by the interest levels. Our sample boxes were empty by Tuesday afternoon the last three weeks. I've had to order more samples for future events."

Based on the principle that "less friction means more distance," the new TEF TEE delivers longer more accurate drives by minimizing the frictional forces between the golf ball and the tee like no other tee can.

Most alternative tees reduce friction by reducing the area of surface contact between the tee and the ball. TEF TEE evolves this concept even further by designing a head with an industry leading 83 percent less surface contact than standard tees.

The TEF TEE secret to even lower friction is the revolutionary coating of the tee head with Teflon®, which has a coefficient of friction among the lowest in the world. This patent pending process reduces friction by another 90 percent versus standard tee materials like wood and plastics, allowing a purer transfer of energy from the club to the ball.

The distinctive white tee with a black head will be available in 2 ¾" and 3 ¼" lengths and can be found in pro shops and golf specialty retailers starting in April 2011.

At just $7.99 for a pack of 25 - 2 ¾" tees (or 20 - 3 ¼"), this new product just may well be the best value in equipment that improves driving performance.

For more info go to www.teftee.com or call Greg MacKeen at 1-647-235-2747.

Former Dellwood Country Club to Restore Tillinghast Classic

90-year-old property changes name to Paramount Country Club

(NEW CITY, NY) - Dellwood Country Club in Rockland County, 30 minutes north of New York City, announced today that it has changed its name to Paramount Country Club. The new name was chosen to reflect the rich legacy of the club and the wealth of improvements being made to the property by the current owners.

Noted golf course architect Jim Urbina-who won raves for his role in creating Old Macdonald, the newest course at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Oregon-has devised a master plan for the prized A.W. Tillinghast golf course. Urbina fell in love with the New City property when he visited for the first time last August. His primary goal is to restore the golf course to the true integrity of Tillinghast's original 1920 design.

"You talk about a hidden gem, this course wasn't listed in any book!" says Urbina, who had to do a great deal of research before taking on the project. "But when it's done, Paramount is going to open people's eyes.

"Over time, courses don't expand. Tees, greens, bunkers, fairways-everything gets smaller. I want to bring back the expanse, the broad views and beauty that original owner Adolph Zukor and A.W. Tillinghast once saw," Urbina added.

Acquired by a private family in 2009, Paramount Country Club is already a very different and greatly improved facility from the old Dellwood. Nearly $5 million has been invested in renovating the clubhouse, grounds, pool area, and 12 tennis courts. A nine-bedroom cottage for members and guests has been modernized and a fitness center added. The existing snack bar will be replaced later this year with an indoor/outdoor Paramount Bistro that will reinvigorate the club's casual dining operations.

The club has a vibrant history, dating back to its days as the weekend property of movie mogul and Paramount Pictures founder Zukor, who used it to entertain the great celebrities of the 1920s. In fact, it was Thomas A. Edison who introduced Zukor to Tillinghast, one of the leading architects of golf's "golden era."

The golf course has been changed over the decades by the effects of nature and 90 years of play: Urbina and the new owners are dedicated to bringing the course back to Tillinghast's original vision, including the incorporation of some long-lost and rarely seen architectural elements. The restoration will be accomplished in segments, starting this spring, and the course will remain open for play during the process.

"As part of our passion for this project, we wanted to bring all the elements together under one name that reflected everything Dellwood has been and the greatness we see in its future," said Jeff Mandelbaum, a representative of the owner. "As we phase in the new name, we'll also be phasing in more projects that exhibit our excitement for the property."

For further information about Paramount Country Club, access the website at www.paramountcountryclub.com or contact membership director Kyla Jones at 845-634-4626.

Dramatic Course in Puerto Rico Emerges along Panoramic Coastline

(ISABELA, Puerto Rico) - One of the most dramatic golf courses to emerge in many years, the setting for the new Golf Links at Royal Isabela is where golf was meant to be played.

This Atlantic Coast island destination club and resort curls itself along the rugged cliffs at the northwest edge of Puerto Rico. Designed by golf architect David W. Pfaff, in collaboration with brothers Stanley and Charlie Pasarell, the founders of Royal Isabela, the golf course is unlike any other in the country.

As they followed the landscape at Royal Isabela, Pfaff and the Pasarell brothers found natural plateaus for wide fairways and large greens, hugging the cliffs along the way. But they also implemented numerous vertical sod-face bunkers, which add a classic Scottish flair to what is otherwise a warm, tropical paradise. (Indeed, the Royal Isabela property was used for the filming of "Perfect Getaway," which was set in Hawaii.)

Having played golf for many years in Scotland and Ireland, when the Pasarell brothers decided to build their own course in their homeland, they envisioned holes that allow for a multitude of strategies on how to play each shot - high, low, draw or cut - all in the ever-changing elements that naturally accompany a seaside layout.

"Tropical Scotland," Stanley Pasarell calls it. "If the Open ever leaves the British Isles, this could be a venue."

The centerpiece of a private gated community and resort golf club, the Golf Links at Royal Isabela is 90 minutes from San Juan International Airport and only 20 minutes from Aguadilla International Airport. The property stretches along 426 ocean-front acres with cliffs that range in elevation from 150 to 350 feet above sea level, creating an intimate paradise for the custom homes and villas that are planned for the community.

Membership to the golf club is by invitation only, but the golf course will be available to resort guests, with the lodge, clubhouse, signature restaurant (La Casa) and guest village set for a soft opening in Summer 2011. Future guests at Royal Isabela will have their choice of 20 beautifully designed one-bedroom Casitas, with expansive indoor and outdoor space, ocean views and close proximity to the golf course and other amenities.

Natural elevation changes accentuate the invigorating cliffs setting for the Golf Links at Royal Isabela. Native grasses, natural sand dunes and craggy cliffs have been preserved and are integral to the design. Together with the trade winds - which can turn from friend to foe at any moment - these elements play a role in shaping the character of the golf course.

Throughout the golf course construction process, the vast majority of the work was done by hand or by using small, very specialized equipment, reflecting the desire to disturb the land as lightly as possible. Lakes and ponds that were found naturally on the property were enhanced and made a part of the golf course, always maintaining the property's natural characteristics.

More than 20,000 native trees and indigenous, ornamental plants have been propagated and grown in the Royal Isabela on-site nurseries using seeds and cuttings gathered on the property, while 40 acres of turfgrass was grown on property, specifically for the golf course and surrounding landscape. Other than the putting surfaces, every blade of grass and every plant within Royal Isabela was grown on the property.

"A legacy has been created here - one of appreciation for the environment and of respect for its history," Stanley Pasarell said. "This is what makes the Royal Isabela experience truly one-of-a-kind."

Envisioned and designed with great passion for the land and the game, the Golf Links at Royal Isabela features an imaginative sequence of large greens, many with multiple tiers. Quite notable are the island green at the par-3 ninth hole and the double green perched on the edge of a cliff that is in play for No. 12 and No. 14. Even more creative - and inspired by the landscape - is the sixth hole, uniquely designed with two separate fairways and greens, which part at the landing area off the tee to create a par 4 and a par 5.

Royal Isabela is not limited by any one signature moment. Mother Nature has provided them continuously from start to finish. There are six sets of tees, which stretch the layout to a maximum of 7,667 yards as a par 73, and 7,538 yards as a par 72 (depending on how No. 6 is played).

The greens at Royal Isabela are Mini Verde (Ultra Dwarf Bermuda), while the fairways are 419 Bermuda, with rough made up of Zoysia, Native Bermuda, Pangola, Estrella, Guinea, Coqui and numerous other native grasses. Guests may use solar carts that are available, but caddies are required.

For additional information, access the web site at www.royalisabela.com or call Mariel Prieto, Marketing Director at 939/940-4150.

HawaiiGolf.com showcasing the Royal Course at Maui's Ka'anapali Golf Resort

Ka'anapali Golf Resort's Royal Course - a Robert Trent Jones Sr. design that has played host to such events as the Champions TOUR Ka'anapali Classic for 14 years, LPGA Kemper Cup, and Shell's Wonderful World of Golf - is this week's featured course at HawaiiGolf.com, the leading site for anyone planning to play golf in Hawaii.

Ka'anapali Resort is built upon 1,200 acres of land home to ancient Hawaiian royalty and is home to two 18-hole championship golf courses. The Royal Ka'anapali course was built in 1962 and features undulating greens and wide fairways to accent views of the Pacific Ocean and West Maui Mountains.

Legends such as Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Chi Chi Rodriguez, Jan Stephanson and Betsy King have walked these fairways.

Guests of the Ka'anapali Resort receive discounts on green fees at both Royal Ka'anapali and newer Ka'anapali Kai, which was extensively renovated in 2005.

In a recent review of Ka'anapali Golf Resort's Royal Course, Bill Bowman wrote:
"From the start, the staff at Ka'anapali Golf Resort goes out of their way to ensure every player is all set. Tees? Yep. Towels? Wet and dry ones at your fingertips. GPS? All loaded up to give you perfect yardages. Plus the system also gives you some historical background of the area. Nice little tidbits to take back home.

Take a second when you get to the par-3 17th to admire the view of this short - but deadly - hole. Many players, including PGA Tour great Lee Trevino, have won and lost tournaments on this 155-yard hole. And that's from the tips.

It's not the length that gets to players, it's the water front and left and the imposing bunkers."

Cobra Golf introduces new Cobra S3 line of women's golf clubs

(CARLSBAD, Calif.) - Cobra Golf announces the introduction of the Cobra S3 line of women's clubs, including S3 and S3 Max Driver, S3 Max Fairway, S3 Irons and Iron-Hybrid Set, S3 Max Irons and Iron-Hybrid Set. This new complete family of women's clubs is designed to perform powerfully and inspire confidence.

"Without a doubt, we believe the Cobra S3 line for women is the most complete, best performing line of golf clubs for women that Cobra has ever introduced," says Brian Zender, Senior Vice President and General Manager of COBRA-PUMA Golf.

That's quite a statement, considering Cobra has a long tradition of designing clubs that truly improve the games of women golfers. In 1985, it was the first manufacturer to offer graphite shafts on a complete line of woods - the Lady Cobra Woods. And while technology may change from year to year, a woman's desire to play clubs that help inspire her confidence does not. This year, Cobra has expanded its commitment to make golf more enjoyable for women by offering 100 women-only demo events across the U.S. The goal is to show female golfers how Cobra equipment is a perfect fit for their games. The 2011 Cobra line utilizes lightweight shafts, smaller and softer grips, and flatter lies to create clubs that are light yet powerful. The end result is high-performance metals and irons that are easy to hit.

COBRA S3 WOMEN'S METALS
The new Cobra S3 line of women's metals - consisting of the S3 Driver, S3 Max Driver and S3 Max Fairway for women - is all about powerful performance.

• COBRA S3 DRIVER
The Cobra S3 Driver for women is geared towards low- and mid-handicap women golfers seeking superior distance and accuracy with ball flight optimization. Made with a 6-4 titanium clubhead and precision milled face, the Cobra S3 Driver features E9 Face Technology™ that creates a 30% larger Sweet Zone™ and combines with Adjustable Flight Technology (AFT) to deliver consistently long distance and accuracy. The new taller, elliptical face shape is designed around typical ball impact patterns, resulting in increased ball speeds on off-center hits.

The Cobra S3 Driver for women (MSRP $375) is available in a 13.5° loft (right-handed only), with a Fujikura Blur TX004 women's 49g shaft, and a Cobra/Golf Pride grip.

• COBRA S3 MAX DRIVER
The Cobra S3 Max Driver for women is geared toward mid- to high-handicap women golfers who want maximum forgiveness and a high draw-biased ball flight. Just like the Cobra S3 Driver for women, the Cobra S3 Max Driver for women boasts a 6-4 titanium clubhead and precision milled face, and also features E9 Face Technology. The Cobra S3 Max for women features an offset design that helps square the clubface at impact, therefore reducing slices.

The Cobra S3 Max Driver for women (MSRP $325) is available in a 15° loft, in both right- and left-handed with a 49g Fujikura Blur TX004 women's shaft, and a Cobra/Golf Pride grip.

• COBRA S3 MAX FAIRWAY
The Cobra S3 Max Fairway is designed for mid- to high-handicap women golfers who want maximum forgiveness and a high draw-biased ball flight. It features a new larger, hotter clubface and offset design that promotes draw-biased distance with forgiveness from the fairway.

The Cobra S3 Max Fairway for women (MSRP $185) is made of 17-4 stainless steel and comes in 3, 5, 7 and 9 models. All lofts sport a 48g Fujikura Blur TX004 women's shaft and a Cobra/Golf Pride grip.

COBRA S3 and COBRA S3 MAX WOMEN'S SERIES OF IRONS
The new Cobra S3 line of women's irons and iron-hybrid sets - consisting of S3 Irons, S3 Iron-Hybrid Sets, S3 Max Irons and Cobra S3 Max Iron-Hybrids Sets for women - all aim to inspire confidence.

• COBRA S3 IRONS
The Cobra S3 Iron Set is targeted at all women golfers who want superior all-around performance. Each individual Cobra S3 Iron features a multi-material design, E9 Face Technology and a versatile stepped crescent sole.

The Cobra S3 Irons (MSRP $875) for women are available in 5-PW, GW, SW, right-handed only, with 50g Aldila NV-3 Women's flex graphite shafts and Cobra/Lamkin grips.

• COBRA S3 IRON-HYBRID SET
For women who prefer using hybrids instead of long irons and want superior all-around performance, Cobra offers Baffler-style, 17-4 stainless steel Cobra S3 Hybrids to replace the 4- through 6-irons. These easy-to-hit clubs utilize Cobra's popular Baffler technology with four-way rails on the sole, to help achieve a higher trajectory, distance and directional consistency, and more accuracy in long shots.

The Cobra S3 Iron-Hybrid (MSRP $1,000) women's set composition is 4-6 Hybrid, 7-PW, SW - all with 50g Aldila NV-3 Women's flex graphite shafts and Cobra/Lamkin grips.

• COBRA S3 MAX IRONS
The Cobra S3 Max Iron Set is targeted at mid- to high-handicap women golfers who want maximum forgiveness and high launch.

The Cobra S3 Max Irons (MSRP $635) for women are available in 5-PW, GW, SW, right-handed only, with UST-iHS graphite shafts and Cobra/Lamkin grips.

• COBRA S3 MAX IRON-HYBRID SET
Meanwhile, the Cobra S3 Max Iron-Hybrid Set for mid- and high-handicap women golfers is all about maximizing forgiveness. It makes a graceful transformation from hybrid to iron with reliable, consistent distance gapping. The 431 stainless steel irons have a low profile, which helps move the center of gravity back low and deep for a higher ball flight, and a wide sole that lends stability to help straighten shots. The 17-4 stainless steel hybrid clubheads are more forgiving, due to their larger head size and railed soles.

The Cobra S3 Iron-Hybrid (MSRP $775) women's set composition is 4-6 Hybrid, 7-PW, SW with UST-iHS graphite shafts and Cobra/Lamkin grips.

The entire 2011 line of Cobra clubs for women is available at retail now. For more information about the 2011 line of Cobra clubs for women, visit us online at www.cobragolf.com, or contact Cobra Customer Service (800-917-3300).
