The Inn at Bay Harbor in Michigan Earns High Ranking on Golf Digest List

(BAY HARBOR, Mich.) - The Inn at Bay Harbor - A Renaissance Golf Resort located in Bay Harbor, Michigan has earned the No. 41 ranking on Golf Digest's prestigious 75 Best Golf Resorts in North America list. The rankings appear in the October 2009 issue currently on newsstands and can also be viewed online at www.golfdigest.com.

"The Inn at Bay Harbor is honored to represent Michigan as a top golf resort and proud to have achieved the best ranking of the select Michigan resorts privileged to be featured," said Bill Quiseng, The Inn at Bay Harbor's general manager.

To determine the 75 Best Golf Resorts in North America, Golf Digest called upon its 900-plus course rating panelists. The panelists rated hundreds of resort courses in the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean on a scale of 1 ("awful") to 10 ("perfect") then averaged their ratings and multiplied the result by 10 to arrive at the score for each resort.

"For the big-game hunters of golf looking to knock off some of the best courses and resorts in the country, now is a good time to do it," says Matt Ginella, Golf Digest travel editor. "Almost every one of the 75 Best Golf Resorts in North America are offering unprecedented stay-and-play packages."

That includes The Inn at Bay Harbor, which rolled out the value-priced Luxury Stay and Play package earlier this summer bundling a night's hotel lodging with 18-holes at Bay Harbor Golf Club starting at $157 per person. The resort offers 134 guest rooms including 84 suites and 23 Lakeside Cottages, a full-service spa and salon, several restaurants and conference facilities as well as the spectacular Arthur Hills' designed Bay Harbor Golf Club.
