Tom Doak, Pinehurst Resort Release Must-See 10th Course Update Video

For those awaiting an update on the 10th course at Pinehurst Resort, the wait is over. To quote Doak, “It is going pretty fast. We’re pretty quick on shaping greens.” Not only shaping greens, but turfing green complexes, fairways, tees boxes and more. But if a picture is worth a thousand words, a 2:30 video might be worth 10,000.

Check out Pinehurst Resort’s just-released video featuring numerous drone shots of the 10th course and invaluable insights from Doak about the front nine, back nine, terrain and timing. Landscape architect Angela Moser is the lead design associate and has been heavily involved in all day-to-day operations. Moser’s impressive credentials include work at the Los Angeles Country Club’s North Course, which will host the 123rd U.S. Open next month.

Located four miles south of the main resort clubhouse, the 10th course will open in 2024, coinciding with the return of the U.S. Open to Pinehurst No. 2. Doak and Moser’s layout incorporates rugged dunes mined at the turn of the 20th century accented by native sand and wiregrass. With natural ridgelines, intriguing landforms, towering longleaf pines, streams and ponds, they envision a course that complements the resort’s other courses through its contrasts.

  1. I am glad to see a good place for an active hobby. But if you only take into account training, it is too expensive.. If someone wants to use their vacation to keep fit, then this is great.

  2. Anyone who comes to golf is no longer in financial trouble)) So your vote is a rarity in this community)) But I can understand you. Many of my friends prefer cricket as their favorite sport. They are very careful about money and often earn with the help of cricket1xbet.com. Yes, cricket is in many ways more popular, but golf can also make extra money. Just consider this possibility.
