(Holland, Ohio) — New England Media, publisher of Northeast Golf and Coastal Home Life Magazines has engaged Clarity.Golf's Bill Bales to be its official indoor golf adviser, and to contribute a regular monthly column on the subject. The premier of Bales' column appears on the back page of the most recent issue of Northeast Golf, on the way to subscribers, America's private clubs, and the golf industry this week.

Bales is not new to golf writing. His very popular blog of the 2000's, "The Next 500 Years", was memorialized in a published compilation with a forward by former PGA TOUR EVP Ruffin Beckwith, who led the initiative to plan and build the World Golf Hall of Fame. Bales has also ghost-written a novel, writes poetry and short stories, and is well along in producing the biography of trick shot artist Ben Witter, who succumbed to cancer after waging a most valiant three-decade war against a countless barrage of malignant tumors.
"I love the game of golf, but frankly am not quite as enamored with the golf industry. This is why I'm such a fan of derivative forms of golf such as indoor simulators and facilities like TopGolf which strip away many of the barriers that golf presents to new players. And I am super keen to help educate the golf simulator market and to help drive down the cost of indoor golf."
Bales is the sole founder of AboutGolf, a seminal force in the innovative advance of simulators over the last twenty years, and most currently the founder of Clarity.Golf, which is dedicated to raise the innovation bar even higher and disrupt the industry as a whole by driving the cost of premium performing simulators down. "We want to bring truth and clarity to the indoor golf market, and one truth is that premium simulators don't have to cost nearly as much as people are paying today."
