PrideSports Replaceable Spikes Used by Winner of AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am and More

(BRENTWOOD, Tenn.) — PrideSports confirms winners from this past weekend’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, LPGA Tour’s Drive On Championship, Asian Tour’s Public Investment Fund Saudi International, DP World Tour’s Ras al Khaimah Championship and the Korn Ferry Tour’s Panama Championship, all relied on the company’s replaceable spikes.

Among the five winners, each used a cleat from Softspikes with their selections based on personal preference and how each model interacts with turf conditions. In the case of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am winner, he briefly went to a spikeless shoe model before returning to spiked shoes in early 2021. This was the 32-year-old American’s first PGA Tour victory.

The spikes used by each winner included:

- AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am – Pulsar from SoftSpikes in FootJoy Premier shoes

- Drive On Championship – Silver Tornado from Softspikes in PUMA shoes

- Ras al Khaimah Championship – Pins Thintech EXP in Adidas ZG21 shoes

- Public Investment Fund Saudi International – Pivix from SoftSpikes in NIKE shoes

- Panama Championship – Pulsar from SoftSpikes in FootJoy Premier shoes

“We are just over a month into 2022 and our spikes have already been used by more than a dozen winners across all major golf Tours,” said Joe Henderson, President of PrideSports. “This adoption at the highest levels of the game is a testament to why traction and stability are so crucial to playing great golf.”

Replacement Softspikes and CHAMP cleats can be purchased in the golf section of most large retailers, sporting goods stores, golf specialty and golf course pro shops across the country. Cleats can also be purchased online from any of these locations, your favorite online store or directly from www.golfspikes.com.

PrideSports is the undisputed leader in the golf cleat segment with its CHAMP and Softspikes brands. The company recommends golfers change their cleats every six to eight months – or even more frequently based on use – to ensure golfers get the maximum performance out of their footwear.
