Reynolds Lake Oconee To Use E-Z-GO Vehicles

(Greensboro, GA)
– Reynolds Lake Oconee has announced that the renowned golf destination and resort community will now use vehicles from E-Z-GO, the worldwide leader in golf car design and manufacturing.

The community’s six golf courses will now use E-Z-GO RXV ELiTE golf cars, and a fleet of Cushman utility vehicles. E-Z-GO and Cushman vehicles are designed and manufactured by Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc., a Textron Inc. (NYSE:TXT) company.

The E-Z-GO RXV ELiTE golf cars feature large bag-well storage and a smooth ride with independent front suspension, plus the industry’s leading electric powertrain technology powered by Samsung SDI’s eco-friendly lithium batteries. The RXV ELiTE golf car is also equipped with an AC motor for best-in-class acceleration through hilly grades. The motor’s performance is enhanced with the revolutionary IntelliBrake technology that automatically applies the parking brake when the vehicle is stopped for a hassle-free experience. In addition, the golf cars have hi-definition Textron Fleet Management screens. With enhanced HD-hole graphics, accurate yardage and pin locations, mobile food ordering, and a digital scorecard, the game is now viewed in a whole new way.

As an industry leader for nearly 70 years, Cushman vehicles offer power, performance, and efficiency for a higher level of maintenance. Innovative powertrains, including ELiTE models powered by Samsung SDI lithium batteries, and 72-volt technology, offer the necessary performance for the upkeep of the community’s facilities.

“The E-Z-GO and Cushman advantage goes far beyond their products with access to a level of service and support unsurpassed in the industry,” said Wes Forester, Director of Golf, Reynolds Lake Oconee. “Through the largest fleet of factory-direct service technicians, and a strong network of factory-owned branch locations, we are excited to work with E-Z-GO.”

Surrounded by more than 350 miles of majestic shoreline on Georgia’s historic Lake Oconee, the community of Reynolds Lake Oconee features golf courses designed by Jack Nicklaus, Tom Fazio, Bob Cupp, Rees Jones, and Jim Engh.  Great Waters by Nicklaus was recently named by GOLF Magazine among the Top-100 Courses You Can Play.  Reynolds is also home to The Kingdom at Reynolds Lake Oconee, a world-class instructional and TaylorMade club fitting facility.

“Reynolds Lake Oconee is one of the country’s premium destinations for golf and leisure activities. Each of their six courses provide their members and guests with a one-of-a-kind experience and we are excited to serve such a prestigious property,” said John Collins, Vice President, E-Z-GO for Textron Specialized Vehicles.

The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee, a 257-room lakefront resort and spa named one of the Best Resorts in Georgia by U.S. News & World Report 2020 sits at the heart of the community, and dining is available at ten distinctive culinary venues across property including The Ritz-Carlton.
