Wilson Launches Staff Model Tour Grind Wedges

Designed alongside Wilson Staff tour players, the Staff Model Tour Grind Wedges feature new sole designs for tight lie relief

(CHICAGO) – Wilson Sporting Goods launched its Staff Model Tour Grind Wedges, collaborating with their tour professionals to deliver to the consumers the sole grinds similar to what is played on Tour.

The tour-inspired wedge is designed for players who look to open the club face to work different types of greenside shots. Ideal for tighter lies or firmer course conditions, these wedges will help more technical players get the most out of their game.

“The new Staff Model Tour Grind Wedges offer consumers the chance to play a wedge inspired by the custom grinds made uniquely for Tour players such as Gary Woodland and Padraig Harrington on Tour,” said Jon Pergande, Global Manager of Innovation. “With a clean design and precision milled club faces, these Tour Grind wedges will provide all golfers with more control of their shot-making capabilities and are a perfect complement to our existing Staff Model line of wedges.”

Featuring soft-forged 8620 Carbon Steel construction, the Staff Model Tour Grind Wedges provide golfers a soft touch for an increased feel. Machine-engraved score lines in the precision milled face create a higher density pattern for maximum spin and control on every shot.

Priced at $129.99, the family of Staff Model Wedges feature True Temper Dynamic Gold 120 steel shafts and Golf Pride Tour Velvet grips. The new Tour Grind wedges are available in 56, 58, and 60-degree options and will be available for purchase at www.wilson.com and golf retailers.
