Old York CC Partners with Clubhouse Solutions

(ORLANDO, Fla.)
– Relying on more than the pure optimism currently emanating from the private golf industry to grow, Old York Country Club in New Jersey is taking major steps toward improving club efficiencies and bolstering member retention through a new partnership announced today with NBC Sports’ Clubhouse Solutions.

Old York is incorporating a full spectrum of management solutions from Clubhouse Solutions, highlighted by GolfNow's EZSuite-branded technology, a complete technology system to power every-day club operations and one of the most tried and trusted management solutions in the industry. As with all EZSuite packages, Old York will benefit from advanced tools for food and beverage, banquets and events, and a golf tee sheet and powerful reporting that will provide the club with more insight to its business.

“We are excited about our new partnership with NBC Sports’ Clubhouse Solutions,” said General Manager David Wheeler. “As we transition to a semi-private club after operating exclusively private for 25 years, NBC gives us the best option to grow our business utilizing all the tools they offer.”

A full website overhaul also is included in Old York’s plans to inform and inspire current and potential members. Clubhouse Solutions will design a customized, fully responsive website incorporating the latest technology and state-of-the-art imagery and will include exclusive access for members to book tee times.

Old York also will utilize services provided by sister NBC Sports Group companies as part of Clubhouse Solutions partnership, including the ability to sell tee times to the public through GolfNow's industry’s leading golfer marketplace and identify quality membership leads through Golf Advisor's massive golfer community.

“We’re excited to help launch this next chapter for Old York,” said Ben Schmidt, national director of sales, GolfNow and Clubhouse Solutions. “Taking that next step with a partner who realizes that innovative technology and services can help push their business forward is an honor for us and will be an exciting journey.”

Situated on 177 picturesque acres in Chesterfield, N.J., and within a 45-minute drive from Philadelphia, Old York provides a classic country club atmosphere featuring an 18-hole, Gary Player-designed golf course and ample facilities for corporate and social events.
