Founders Group International Names Bobby McCullough GM/Head Golf Professional at River Hills

(MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.) — Bobby McCullough, who has nearly 15 years of industry experience, has been named general manager and head golf professional at River Hills Golf Club, one of Founders Group International’s 21 Myrtle Beach area courses.

McCullough will oversee all golf course operations, the course’s recently remodeled clubhouse and restaurant, and the thriving relationship between Rivers Hills and the surrounding community.

“Bobby McCullough has been a valued member of the Founders Group International team for nearly five years, and he was the ideal candidate to take over at River Hills,” said FGI President Steve Mays. “Bobby has experience on both the public and private side of the golf business, and he understands the Myrtle Beach market as well as anyone. We look forward to his continued success at River Hills.”

McCullough joined FGI in 2017 when he was hired as an assistant golf pro at River Club and within a year he was named first assistant professional at Indian Wells. Upon the closing of Indian Wells, McCullough assumed the same position at Grande Dunes in 2020, where he remained until the move to River Hills.

Prior to working at FGI, McCullough enjoyed stints as the head golf professional at Burning Ridge Golf Club and Wachesaw Plantation.
