New Honma Mobile Experience Hubs Launch Across North America

Expert fitters bring detailed, custom approach to club fitting in six new markets


(CARLSBAD, Calif.) — Iconic golf equipment brand Honma Golf welcomes a new team of master club fitters to its staff as the Honma Mobile Experience club fitting program rolls out in key markets across North America. The Honma Mobile Experience, outfitted with sleek, purpose-built Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans, delivers personalized fitting experiences to private golf clubs, public/resort courses, and other golf facilities in Boston, the Carolinas, Colorado, and Ohio in the U.S., as well as Toronto and Vancouver in Canada.

As Honma continues to share the story of its innovative TR20 (Tour Release 2020) family of drivers and irons, a line catered specifically to North America’s feel- and performance-minded golfer, the Honma Mobile Experience gives players an intimate, hands-on opportunity to test and be fit for one of 2020’s most-talked-about equipment lines.

Honma fitters also have the brand’s full array of beautifully-crafted performance clubs for golfers to test, including the T//World XP1 line’s beautifully-shaped, incredibly forgiving irons and exquisite fast drivers, fairway woods and hybrids. Professional club fitters who have recently joined the Honma team, bringing more than a half century’s experience, include Anthony Fagone in greater Boston, Hunter Smith in the Carolinas, Kyle McGee based in Colorado, Jim Troy in Ohio, as well as Cameron Jacobs in Toronto, and Vancouver-based fitter Taylor Hull. Each fitter carries a decorated background in the golf business and is uniquely trained and qualified to champion the Honma brand to golfers eager for unparalleled feel and performance from their golf equipment. Honma’s newest team members join nine master fitters who helped launch fully-operational Honma Mobile Experience markets in January 2020.

Each Honma Mobile Experience, a combination of scheduled fitting events and private appointments, delivers an unparalleled fitting session in which players are custom fit into the perfect family of Honma clubs for their game.

At a Honma Mobile Experience fitting, golfers test a full matrix of Honma’s hand-crafted heads and proprietary shafts, as well as leading third-party brand shafts during the 1:1 personalized fitting session. The opportunity to work with a master fitter using a state-of-the-art Foresight GC Quad launch monitor is integral to each experience, which includes a follow-up email with launch data and equipment recommendations, and provides a direct pathway for the player to interact with the brand.

Each Honma Mobile Experience will follow strict protocols for safety, sanitation and physical distancing. Every fitter is trained to make the golfer’s health and safety a top priority at every fitting.
