Two Dozen Troon Affiliated Resort Locations Named to GOLF's "Top 100 Resorts In North America" List

(Scottsdale, Ariz.) – Troon, the leader in club management, development and marketing is pleased to congratulate the 24 affiliated resort destinations and partners that were recently named to GOLF Magazine and Golf.com’s “Top 100 Resorts in North America” ranking for 2019/2020.

The rankings, which appear on Golf.com and in the October issue of GOLF Magazine, are sub-categorized into four categories: Top 25 Resorts for Luxury; Top 25 Resorts for Buddies; Top 25 Resorts for General Excellence; and Top 25 Resorts for Families. Troon provides management and/or caddie services at 24 of the 100 resorts recognized by GOLF through its Troon family of brands, including Troon Golf, OB Sports or CADDIEMASTER.

Troon Golf and OB Sports affiliated resort destinations named to GOLF’s Top 100 Resorts in North America for 2019/2020, include: The Ritz-Carlton Kapalua in Kapalua, Maui, Hawaii; One & Only Palmilla in Cabo San Lucas, B.C.S, Mexico; Gamble Sands in Brewster, Wash. (OB Sports); La Quinta Resort & Club in La Quinta, Calif.;  Princeville Resort Kauai in Princeville, Kauai, Hawaii; Pronghorn Resort in Bend, Ore.; and Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North in Scottsdale, Ariz. In addition, CADDIEMASTER provides caddie services at 15 of the award-winning golf resorts named in GOLF’s prestigious ranking.

“Congratulations to all of the amazing resort properties recognized by GOLF Magazine,” said Mike Ryan, chief operating officer, Troon. “Compliments to the owners of the properties – our resort partners – whom we collaborate with on a daily basis, and to the agronomy and golf operations teams for delivering five-star golf experiences on a daily basis.”

With the help of 3,700-plus golfers, Golf.com conducted an online poll, asking readers to rate each resort based on five key variables: golf experience, accommodations, service, food and ambience. The results of the poll were then weighed against the opinions of a select group of GOLF’s Top 100 Courses panelists and those of internal travel and editorial teams to list destinations in each category.
