2019 World Long Drive Championship, Powered by Volvik VIVID XT, Won by Berkshire and Crittenden

(ORLANDO, Florida) — In a thrilling finale to the 2019 World Long Drive Championship – the ultimate power golf spectacle, featuring the Volvik VIVID XT golf ball – Volvik staff players Kyle Berkshire, in the Open Division, and Jeff Crittenden, in the Masters Division, were victors. Contested at the WinStar World Casino & Resort, in Thackerville, Okla., the competition, televised live on Golf Channel Sept. 3 and 4, featured the world’s longest hitters in golf.

In the Open Division, Berkshire, of Orlando, Fla., confirmed his No. 1 ranking, hitting a 407-yard drive and claiming his first World Long Drive Championship title belt. In the Masters Division, Crittenden, of Greensboro, N.C., secured his second world championship title in three years, blasting his final ball 388 yards.

The World Long Drive Championship is the ultimate power golf spectacle and draws not only the best long drive hitters but also avid spectators from around the globe.

The 2019 World Long Drive Championship provided great competition with Volvik Staff Members Tim Burke, Justin James, Defending Open Division Champion Maurice Allen, Defending Women’s Division Champion and 2019 runner-up Phillis Meti, Jeff Crittenden and Kyle Berkshire in the field.
