Billy Casper Golf Awarded Management of Ocean Course at Hōkūala on Kaua‘i

Jack Nicklaus Signature Course Features Longest Continuous Stretch of Ocean Holes in State of Hawai‘i

(KAUA‘I, Hawai‘i) – Billy Casper Golf (BCG) – one of America’s largest owner-operators of golf courses, country clubs and resorts – has been awarded management of the Ocean Course at Hōkūala on Kaua‘i. Hōkūala translates to mean “Rising Star.” In such a unique setting where the ocean meets the land, this is as good as it gets on the "Garden Isle."

BCG will oversee clubhouse operations, golf course maintenance, marketing, sales, staffing, merchandising, golf instruction and financial management of the Ocean Course. The 18-hole championship design will be supported by BCG’s regional and national teams for expert guidance in business decisions.

Conveniently located next to Lihue Airport (LIH), Timbers Kaua‘i and Marriott Kaua‘i Resort, the award-winning layout was renovated in 2017 with world-class TifEagle greens, bright white silica sand bunkers, innovative visual aesthetics, an expanded driving range, new Golfboards, and many other enhancements.
