Inventors Pitch PGA Merchandise Show Businesses - Strive for Next Hit Product

(RELEASE) - For 27 years, the non-profit United Inventors Association of the United States of America (UIA) has provided resources to the inventing community while encouraging honest and ethical business practices among industry service providers. Now, the UIA returns to host the Inventors Spotlight at the upcoming PGA 2019 Merchandise Show, January 23 – 25, 2019 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

The UIA Inventors Spotlight is a unique platform where inventors introduce golf inventions to industry influencers and product development experts in order for appropriate companies and executives to find unique golf products for sale or license. Those who have created golf training/teaching aids, golf apparel or accessories, golf equipment and other golf-related products are encouraged to participate.

“We understand the value for inventors to get face-time with decision-makers in the professional golf industry as larger companies look for new products and inventors hope to sell or license their brands,” said Brian Fried, Executive Director, UIA. “When home-grown inventions become manufactured and marketed products, it means success for all parties involved.”

The PGA Merchandise Show in partnership with the United Inventors Association will grand awards in three categories:  Best New Overall Product, Best Market Research and Best Product Concept. Products will be judged by a panel of golf industry professionals and product development experts. Award winners receive recognition at the show.

“By recognizing inventors and inventions, the UIA continues our efforts to pair those new products with those about to bring those inventions to market,” continues Warren Tuttle, President, UIA.

This year’s Inventors Spotlight will include such products as Kangaroo Golf Towel, Exact Golf Tool, Fourball, Golfuture, Guided Knowledge, Lock-In Golf Grip, Range Gripper, SitFit Chair, Snap-In Putter Guide, and Walk18 Golf, among others.
