Four Days of Live Action from John Deere Classic on ESPN+
(RELEASE) - Perennial favorite Steve Stricker and two-time major winner Zach Johnson will highlight featured group coverage airing on ESPN+ Thursday morning from the PGA TOUR’s John Deere Classic at TPC Deere Run in Quad Cities, Ill., the first of four days of live action from the tournament on ESPN+.
Stricker, a three-time winner of the event, and Johnson will tee off at 9 a.m. ET Thursday with Wesley Bryan, winner of last year’s RBC Heritage tournament. Fans can follow their full round on ESPN+.
A trio of rising young stars also will be featured including Si Woo Kim, who at 21 became the youngest winner of THE PLAYERS Championship last year; Aaron Wise, who won his first PGA TOUR event earlier this year in Texas; and Harold Varner III, an American who won the Australian PGA Championship tournament in 2016. Their round begins at 8:50 a.m. Featured group coverage begins at 8 a.m.
ESPN+ viewers also will be able to watch featured hole coverage from the Par 4 No. 14, as well as the Par 3 No. 16, beginning at 4 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and 1 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
ESPN+ offers golf fans 50 days of coverage from 20 PGA TOUR events, including the RBC Heritage, the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational, the FedExCup Playoffs and more.
