(GREENSBORO, Ga.) – A golf buddy trip of a lifetime—hosted by travel guru Matt Ginella of Golf Channel—is set for is Oct. 21-24 at Reynolds Lake Oconee, the award-winning lakefront golf resort community between Atlanta and Augusta.

This festive fall “Golftoberfest” will feature a complete immersion into the luxury golf and sporting lifestyle at the world-class destination on Georgia’s sparkling Lake Oconee.

Every participant in the Golf Advisor Getaway will enjoy three rounds of golf, private group dinner parties, daily breakfast and lunch, with optional experiences at the Reynolds Kingdom of Golf (club-fitting and special presentation by Todd Beach, head of Research Design & Engineering for TaylorMade), and the resort’s new Sandy Creek Sporting Grounds (sporting clays, shooting stands, archery). “I am looking forward to the camaraderie on this trip to Reynolds Lake Oconee, which is on the rise amongst the most notable golf destinations in America,” said Ginella, the popular Golf Channel on-air personality. “If I wasn’t hosting this trip, I’d phone a few friends and book it tomorrow.”

Guests have a variety of luxury accommodation choices, from private rooms at The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee to sharing a four-bedroom National Club Cottage or opting for either a three- or two-bedroom Lake Club condominium.

Registration is limited to 72, with prices ranging from $2,649 (condo accommodations) to $3,449 (rooms at The Ritz-Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee).

Golfers will play the Rees Jones-designed Oconee Course and will receive a rare treat—a round on the members-only Creek Club, the exclusive private course at Reynolds Lake Oconee designed by Jim Engh.  The third round will be at The National, the popular 27-hole Tom Fazio layout.

“It is going to be a pleasure to share the stunning golf courses and Lake Oconee views with avid golfers like me for what is sure to be a memorable vacation,” Ginella said.
