Reserva Conchal Beach Resort, Golf & Spa to Host U.S. Kids Golf Latin American Championship

Elite Tournament June 28-30 Spotlights Top Juniors on Famed Robert Trent Jones II Layout

(PLAYA CONCHAL, Costa Rica) – Reserva Conchal Beach Resort, Golf & Spa – the luxury resort on Costa Rica’s scenic northwestern Pacific coast – will once again host the U.S. Kids Golf Latin American Championship June 28-30 on its award-winning Robert Trent Jones II golf course.

The tournament, which debuted a year ago, will showcase more than 110 elite junior golfers from around the world, ages­­ six and under to 18. Players’ families can also vacation at one of the premier destinations in Central America.

Reserva Conchal’s dynamic, par-71 golf course will be set up to play at yardages ranging from 1,300 to 6,900 yards, depending on age group. Jones II’s exceptional routing meanders between the azure Pacific Ocean waters and lush greens of the neighboring “dry” tropical forest, exposing players to myriad elements. The returning nines feature ocean vistas with unforgettable holes winding through lakes, rugged ravines and rolling hills.

Earlier this May, Reserva Conchal was the site of the PGA TOUR Latinoamerica’s Essential Costa Rica Classic. Reserva Conchal hosted the inaugural tournament in 2017, which was Costa Rica’s first PGA TOUR event in more than 30 years. Many players in the field raved about the golf course for its playability, scenery and conditions.

Golfweek and Golf Digest Magazines recently named Reserva Conchal the top golf course in Costa Rica. Reserva Conchal also was the first course in Costa Rica bestowed certification by Audubon International. It boasts a world-class practice facility and learning center with four green complexes, bunkers, chipping and approach areas, and an expansive practice tee.
