Antigua Announces Early Spring '18 Styles

"Antigua's men's Spring '18 performance golf apparel demonstrates the proliferation of self collar polos that represent current fashion trends as much as they are the ideal styling choice to showcase our proprietary patterns," says Sean Gregg, VP of product development and marketing support. "Though the self collar polo style dominates the men's polo shirt offering this season, the flat knit fashion collar hasn't taken a backseat. When this collection was being conceptualized, integrating the sophisticated and sport-aligned flat knit collar was so important that specific fabrications were designed to pair with this classic style."

Style Exchange integrates the fashion flat knit collar smoothly into the tonal top portion of the dramatically engineered chest design. It uses this season's fashion shades in the upper body and sleeves while partitioning the balance from the placket on down with a seasonal accent-to-white-to-heather-grey neutral hombre stripe that finishes the pattern repeat. Exchange is constructed in a fine gauge jersey, and includes spandex for maximum comfort and stretch. It's stylized with vertically set striped cuffs.

Style Liquid also employs the flat knit collar as a complement to the fabric. A carry forward from last season, it again demonstrates that a pique fabric can be more than utilitarian. Its two-color stripe fabric has been knit into a variegated auto repeat that takes advantage of the pique's birds-eye construction -- creating an iridescent effect that's emphasized alongside solid color stripes, offering a unique color appeal to this otherwise classic pique polo.

Style Aerial shares the same two colors of this season's palette as Liquid, and was created in a supple poly/spandex jersey construction. Its main fabric color showcases the rich, bright colors of this season's collection while the one-inch repeating pinstripe is a subtly contrasting accent color. It's available in eight vibrant color combinations.

Dimension

For Spring '18, Antigua has placed an emphasis on engineering styles with obvious chest placement accent designs. Five uniquely designed garments with equally uniquely designed patterns have been developed to spotlight this trend. Style Unite subtly uses multi-color end-on-end feed stripes intermittently paired, while engineered chest panel style Unite defines the chest stripe trend. Made of the softest poly/spandex jersey and sewn with a self-fabric collar with perpendicularly cut cuffs, Unite is a must-have garment this season in any of its five color combinations.

Style Dimension rounds out Antigua's initial Spring '18 new designs. It's a contemporary print with asymmetric linear accents set against a tonal seasonal color background. The contemporary performance golf polo incorporates the same linear pattern used as accents in tone-on-tone shades throughout the fabric design. Its self-fabric collar completes the updated look and achieves a complete print color matching.
