High Heat Fairway Woods, Hybrids Named among Most Significant Clubs in 2017 by Links

(BONITA, CA) – Internationally renowned golf publication Links Magazine calls the Knuth Golf High Heat fairway woods and hybrids among the most “significant” golf clubs of 2017 in its Spring issue. The High Heat clubs were the only fairways woods and hybrids chosen for the article.

High Heat Hybrid
Links Magazine joins a long list of media outlets singing the praises of the High Heat family of metalwoods, designed by former USGA Senior Director Dean Knuth with amateurs’ performance needs in mind. Knuth was awarded Golf Inc. magazine’s “Top Innovator” award for golf clubs in 2016.

In the article, Links editors touched on the technology that separates High Heat from its competitors.

From the article: “Joining the award-winning High Heat driver and 3-wood are a 5- and 7-wood and five hybrids all with titanium faces, very low center of gravity and Fire Zone Face Technology, which creates seven distinct variable thicknesses for more distance and forgiveness.”

With a Beta titanium cup face, the High Heat fairway woods and hybrids have proven to provide a significantly increased spring-like effect across the entire face for extra distance and increased forgiveness compared to the industry standard steel face. Knuth Golf is the only company that offers titanium faces in fairway woods and hybrids.

The deeper and lower Center-of-Gravity (CG) makes the High Heat hybrids easier to hit because the CG angle is nearly 33% larger than the average of the leading models offered by all major brands.

The new 5- and 7-woods were recently named Product of the Month by the award-winning GolfTalk Live radio show, following in the footsteps of the High Heat driver, 3-wood and 3-hybrid, all of which have won that award.

“Knuth Golf has solidified High Heat as the leading brand in properly addressing the hitting needs of the amateur golfer," said GolfTalk Live host, Tony Leodora. "It seems impossible to be able to improve the performance of the High5-wood-face Heat driver, fairway woods and hybrids. Amateur golfers finally have nearly a complete set of clubs made especially for their needs. The 5 and 7 fairway woods are the finishing touches on an already successful 2017 for the brand.”

Knuth, inventor of the USGA Course Rating and Slope System, has been very appreciative of the support his clubs have received, but not surprised. His clubs are the result of years of research on the performance of amateur golfers.

"The massive sweet spot in my fairway woods and hybrids affords amateur golfers optimum performance," said Knuth.  "With our deep and low CG, they are designed so the amateur golfer gets the ball in the air. But our titanium faces are critical to provide amateurs with the forgiveness they need on off-center hits so they obtain more greens in regulation and lower scores.

At KnuthGolf.com, an online fitting is conducted to properly address the loft for the driver and which weight and flex is needed for the club shaft for any High Heat fairway wood or hybrid they purchase.
