Troon Announces Partnership with Ship Sticks

(Scottsdale, Ariz.) – Troon, the leader in golf course management, development, and marketing, has selected Ship Sticks, the world’s premiere golf club shipping provider, as the company’s preferred partner for golf club shipping.

As part of the partnership, Ship Sticks will utilize a number of Troon’s dynamic marketing platforms including digital and print media through Troon Golf & Travel, customer engagement through Troon’s expansive database, and other Troon marketing channels that reach a number of key golfer demographics. Participating Troon facilities will also utilize Ship Sticks to offer customers reliable club and luggage shipping services to and from the golf course at rates up to 60 percent less than major logistics providers.

“Our new partnership with Ship Sticks is exciting on many fronts as the relationship benefits both Troon customers and Troon Privé club members, along with Troon facilities across the globe,” said Mike Ryan, co-chief operating officer and executive vice president, Troon. “Ship Sticks makes it easy for golfers to ship their clubs anywhere in the world. The ease of their service ultimately encourages golfers to travel more and play more golf.”

In addition, Ship Sticks becomes an official sponsor of both the Troon Cup and Troon Challenge annual golf tournaments – two nationwide events that attract more than 1,300 players.  Participants playing in both tournaments will receive special offers from Ship Sticks on shipping their clubs to and from the event destinations.

"We are excited to launch our partnership with Troon and look forward to offering our services to their extensive membership and managed facilities." said Nick Coleman, CEO.  "Our goal is to simplify the way one travels with their clubs, and drive more rounds of golf worldwide."
