Golf Channel to Air Live Coverage of Presidents Cup Captain's Picks on Tuesday at 5 P.M. ET

Golf Central Special Features U.S. Captain Haas and International Captain Price with Their Two Captain’s Picks

(ORLANDO, Fla.) – 2015 U.S. Presidents Cup team captain Jay Haas and International team captain Nick Price will announce their two captain’s picks during a media teleconference on Tuesday, Sept. 8, from 5-6 p.m. ET, and Golf Central will provide comprehensive coverage during a live, one-hour special. Golf Channel will air the two teleconferences, featuring the captain’s picks announcements, and coverage will be hosted by George Savaricas, Tripp Isenhour and Tim Rosaforte.

The Deutsche Bank Championship was the final opportunity for players to earn points toward qualifying for the U.S. and International Presidents Cup teams. The top-10 players in the U.S. and International team standings at the conclusion of the Deustche Bank Championship automatically qualified for The Presidents Cup, with the captains each having two picks to complete their respective teams.

Golf Channel and Golf Channel on NBC will combine to air nearly 70 hours of news and match-play coverage of the 2015 Presidents Cup, Oct. 7-11, from Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea in Songdo IBD, Incheon City, Korea. Golf Channel will surround match coverage with Golf Central’s Live From The Presidents Cup news programming throughout the week.
