Exotics EX9 Fairway Woods Maximize Distance with Full-Speed Impact Design

FSI is the new speedometer in golf

(Batavia, IL) – Tour Edge Golf introduces the new Exotics EX9 fairway wood featuring a Full-Speed Impact design. The new Full-Speed Impact design maximizes club head speed through a sloped crown and the Exotics famous SlipStream sole. An interchangeable heel weight offers players of all abilities the added benefit of draw enhancement for legendary Exotics length and control.

Tour Edge engineers began the designing process with the main goal of maximizing clubhead speed at impact and resulting in new combinations of technology to achieve it; creating the Full-Speed Impact design. The first property of the new design in the EX9 fairway wood clubhead is a sloping crown. The gentle slope reduces aerodynamic drag resulting in added speed at impact for maximum distance.

The SlipStream sole combines seamlessly in the EX9 fairway wood as the second property of the Full-Speed Impact design. The EX9 SlipStream sole features shorter ‘waves’ from front to back, dramatically reducing the amount of turf interaction – the result is a full-speed explosive impact.

Creating the ultimate ball speed generator, the Power Grid has been reengineered deeper and much more narrow to increase the spring-effect across all areas of the face. Notches along the back edge of the Power Grid provide thinner spots specifically designed to increase rebound at impact leading to faster ball speeds.

The first to bring robotic laser beam bonding to the US market in 2015, the EX9 utilizes this exclusive technology to adhere the Carpenter 475 cup face to the hyper-steel body. The robotic process provides flawless seams ensuring the tightest tolerances for exceptional performance.

The EX9 fairway wood also includes an interchangeable heel weight and offers players the added benefit of draw enhancement. The 9-gram heel weight screw is housed in an 8-gram weight pad for 17 grams of deep heel weighting. The weight screw is adjustable and additional weights can be purchased as a kit or individually. The kit includes 6-gram, 11-gram and 14-gram weights to increase or decrease the swing weight.

The EX9 fairway wood is finished in an elegant and modern gloss black and is available in 15 (173 cc), 16.5 (165 cc), 18 (158 cc), and 21 (150 cc) degree lofts. Left hand is available in 15 and 18 degree models. Every Tour Edge club comes with a lifetime warranty and a 30-day play guarantee. Standard stock shafts: Mitsubishi Bassara E-Series, and Matrix Exotics White Tie, Red Tie, and Black Tie.
