New Look for Lāna‘i Golf

(LĀNA‘I CITY, HI) – As part of the multimillion-dollar renovation of the Four Seasons Resort Lāna‘i at Manele Bay, The Challenge at Manele is being renamed and the island’s premier golf experience rebranded. This Jack Nicklaus-designed layout, one of the world’s most scenic golf venues, is now known as Manele Golf Course, and it has been given a new logo that uniquely captures its sense of place on this magical isle.

The logo combines a stylized wave crest and a sun setting above an Omilu, the popular game fish also known as the Bluefin trevally and found in many bays and reefs around the island.

To commemorate this new beginning for Manele Golf Course, young golfers 17 and under will play for free after noon when accompanied by a paying adult. (One free child per one playing adult resort guest; not available to day guests.) This is part of the resort’s commitment to help grow the game by encouraging more young people onto the course.

The multi-million dollar transformation underway at Four Seasons Resort Lāna‘i at Manele Bay is paving the way for the resort to offer the highest standards of hospitality, highly personalized service and innovative enhancements to guests who appreciate only the very best.

A number of enhancements have been already unveiled including new restaurants ONE FORTY, VIEWS, NOBU LANAI, one of the most highly regarded Japanese restaurants in the world. This branch of what Vogue called “the world’s hippest restaurant chain” is only the second in the United States to feature teppanyaki tables (incorporating iron griddles in the tables) and to provide unique, Nobu-style teppan service. The newly renovated restaurant is located in the Lower Lobby and offers a unique new culinary experience, allowing guests to dine within the heart of the restaurant while enjoying the island’s breathtaking views and outside environment.

Redesigned guestrooms and suites, high-end retail stores, a renovated clubhouse and spa, the addition of a luxury transfer fleet and an exclusive airport lounge in Honolulu are among the recently completed improvements.
