EWGA's CEO Pam Swensen Weighs in on Royal & Ancient Golf Club's Vote to Allow Women Members

(Palm Beach Gardens, FL) - On Thursday, September 18, the Royal & Ancient Golf of St. Andrews, Scotland announced that its membership voted to allow female members. Peter Dawson, Chief Executive of the R&A, the governing body off-shoot of the club, said the club will fast-track membership for a "significant initial number" of women into the club.

Pam Swensen, CEO of the EWGA, weighed in on the ruling.
