Mantis Golf Introduces a Blade, the Mantis 'B'

(WILTON, Conn.) – Mantis Golf (www.mantisgolfco.com), maker of fine putters with specialized patented qualities to enhance putting success, will introduce a new blade, the Mantis “B”, at the 2014 PGA Merchandise Show, to take place Jan. 21-24 in Orlando, Fla. Mantis Golf will exhibit its putter lines at the outdoor Demo Day, Jan. 21, at Orange Country National Golf Course, as well as in the indoor putting area and in booth # 1858, Jan. 22-24, at the Orange County Convention Center.

“After the extraordinary reception of our original Mantis mallet putter, we have received equally enthusiastic interest in a Mantis blade, so we are happy to introduce it this year,” said Chris Maher, CEO of Mantis Golf. “Our heel-shafted blade is the perfect complement to our original face-balanced mallet, providing a Mantis option for any putting style.”

The Mantis “B” features the same superior quality and craftsmanship as do all the Mantis putter designs, including the signature Mantis patented green finish, so the putter blends with the putting surface to avoid distracting the golfer’s eye. Just like the Mantis mallet putter, the Mantis “B” is available in various lengths, is constructed of the finest materials and features design characteristics of great appeal.

The Mantis “B” blade putter is constructed of soft 304 stainless steel with a polyurethane face insert that promotes good feel and sound. Its heel-toe weighted design provides forgiveness on off-center impacts. Unlike the face-balanced Mantis mallet putter, the Mantis “B” features a toe-down hosel orientation. The non-reflective finish of the Mantis “B” prevents distracting glare. With a weight of 355 grams and a 4225 g/cc2 moment of inertia, the Mantis blade putter offers remarkable balance, feel and performance. The Mantis “B” features a Custom Winn grip and is available in the following shaft lengths: 33”, 34” and 35”.
