J.B. Holmes Joins Cleveland Golf/Srixon
(HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA) – Cleveland Golf/ Srixon announced the recent addition of J.B. Holmes to their professional tour staff. Holmes, a two-time winner on the PGA Tour, agreed to terms on a multi-year contract with no additional details made available.
A 32-year-old native of Campbellsville, Ky., Holmes victory at the 2006 FBR Open made him the fastest golfer to $1,000,000 in career earnings on the PGA Tour. In 2008, Holmes won the FBR Open for the second time in three years, helping him clinch a spot representing the United States on their victorious 2008 Ryder Cup team. During the 2008 season, Holmes reached the top 50 in Official World Golf Rankings for the first time in his career.
At the 2011 PGA Championship, Holmes was forced to withdraw after battling several months of vertigo-like symptoms. After receiving several medical opinions, Holmes was diagnosed with Chiari malformations - structural defects in the cerebellum, which is the part of the brain that controls balance. In September of 2011, Holmes underwent brain surgery. The following month, doctors discovered he was allergic to an adhesive used in a webbed titanium plate placed at the base of his skull, which required additional surgery.
“I’d never even heard of the symptoms; they just popped up,” Holmes said. “Some people have it their whole lives and it doesn’t affect them. But I thought it was over if I couldn’t get it fixed. They cut out a piece of my skull to get some room. It wasn’t much fun.”
In January 2012, Holmes returned to the PGA Tour before fracturing his ankle in a rollerblading accident in March of 2013. While recovering from his ankle injury, Holmes opted for surgery on the tennis elbow he’d been suffering with since late 2011. Holmes, who is playing this year on a major medical exemption, returned to action at last week’s Farmers Insurance Open, where he finished with a 3-under-par 285, and a share of 23rd place. Holmes is playing this week at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, a tournament he’s already won twice in his young career.
“We’re thrilled to have J.B. as a member of the Srixon and Cleveland team,” said Todd Harman, President of Cleveland Golf/Srixon – U.S.A. “J.B. is an exceptional competitor who has had to overcome serious adversity in regards to his health. We’re excited to play a part in his journey back to winning on the PGA Tour.”

New Nike VRS Covert Forged Irons - Longer, Hotter
NexCOR face technology and a deeper high-speed cavity back deliver faster ball speed and more distance in a forged construction
(BEAVERTON, Ore.) – Built with metal wood distance in mind, Nike Golf’s new VRS Covert Forged irons provide high-speed performance in a premium design. Nike Golf engineers incorporated a NexCOR face, Nike’s proprietary variable face thicknesstechnology that delivers faster ball speed for greaterdistance. The new ironsalso feature a high-speed cavity back design with a lower, deeper center of gravity for longer and straighter shots.
“We focused on improving distance and off-center hit performance with the VRS Covert Forged irons,” says Chris Savage, Nike Golf Irons Innovation Engineer. “It’s the first time we designed a forged iron with a high-speed NexCOR face, and engineering the variable thickness really amplifies the trampoline effect off the face. We further enhanced the performance with balancedperimeter weighting via a deep, engineered cavity back design. In our testing, the VRS Covert Forged irons delivered up to seven additional yards in distance compared to last year’s product.”
“Our research shows that more than 80 percent of player impact is between the center and the toe side of an iron,” Savage adds. “So another key focus on this product was to shift the center of gravity to the center of the face. By moving the true sweet spot to the area where most people hit the ball, we enhanced the iron’s feel and improved off center performance by as much as 17 percent.”
Nike’s X3X groove technology features grooves that are closer together and deeper on the clubface. Nike Golf engineers added width to the shape of the existing high-frequency X3X grooves to maximize spin and maintain ball flight, resulting in a 50-percent decrease in long iron dispersion from difficult lies.

TaylorMade Golf Company Introduces Tour Preferred and Tour Preferred X Golf Balls
Softer and more durable cover makes new line-up the best performing golf balls in company history
(CARLSBAD, Calif.) – TaylorMade Golf Company, the No. 2 golf ball brand on the PGA TOUR, announced the release of Tour Preferred and Tour Preferred X: two tour-caliber golf balls that provide complete tee-to-green performance.
After a decade of prototyping and testing with the world’s best players, the company believes the new Tour Preferred franchise is the best performing ball the company has released to date.
“Golf ball innovation doesn’t just happen overnight. Rather, it is a series of ongoing conversation with our Tour players,” said Dean Snell, vice president of golf ball R&D. “These conversations have led to the introduction of breakthrough technologies including low drag aerodynamics for ultimate wind resistance, a five-layer construction for superior control throughout the club set and now our softest and most durable cover.”
Key to the performance of the Tour Preferred and Tour Preferred X golf ball line is TaylorMade’s patented and proven technologies, including:
* REACT Core for greater ball speed on all shots for increased distance.
* Spin Mantle designed to deliver precise and consistent spin rates on given shots throughout the bag.
* Low-Drag Performance Aerodynamics (LDP) A 322-dimple pattern designed to minimize distance loss on low spin shots and also maintain a penetrating ball flight into the wind.
A new technology featured in the golf balls is Soft Tech, TaylorMade’s softest and most durable cover to date. Made of a cast urethane, the new cover provides an even softer feel around the greens than previous TaylorMade offerings. The Soft Tech cover will also provide higher resistance to shearing and will last longer.
What separates Tour Preferred and the Tour Preferred X from each other is spin. The Tour Preferred is designed for players who desire more spin in the mid-to-long iron shots. The additional spin will also promote a higher trajectory on approach shots.
Tour Preferred X maintains the same spin and trajectory into the green as its predecessor Lethal. Unlike Lethal, Tour Preferred X promotes better green side control because of its new Soft Tech cover.
TaylorMade anticipates that more than 80% of its tour players will gravitate to this model as they are seeking controlled iron spin, for a more penetrating ball flight.
Since their introduction on Tour earlier this year, tour players have quickly made the switch to both models including Sergio Garcia who has already won twice with the Tour Preferred X (Thailand Golf Championship in December and Qatar Masters in January). Emerging LPGA star Jessica Korda also played the Tour Preferred X in her season-opening win at the Pure Silk Classic.
Tour Preferred and Tour Preferred X will be available at retail on March 1st at $45.99 per dozen. For more information, please visit www.taylormadegolf.com
New Isle Estates Neighborhood Coming Soon to Old Palm Golf Club
Luxury enclave's fourth neighborhood showcases 33 homes sites, coastal architecture inspired by British West Indies and Bermuda
(PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla.) - Old Palm Golf Club - the premier private and exclusive residential community in the Palm Beaches - announces the first phase of its new Isle Estates neighborhood is nearing completion.
Four model homes, ranging from nearly 5,100 to more than 5,500 sq. ft. under air, are scheduled to open for touring in early March. Each is beautifully sited on a one-third acre home site overlooking one of Old Palm's largest lakes and the spectacular Raymond Floyd-designed golf course. To extend views even farther, the parcels are slightly elevated.
Of the 33 planned home sites, 22 will be included in the first release. Home prices will be set in the coming weeks, but are anticipated to range from $2 to $3 million.
"Isle Estates is a completely unique concept within Old Palm," says Connie McGinnis, director of sales. "The neighborhood looks and feels coastal; so much so that you might think you were in the British West Indies or an exclusive enclave on Palm Beach."
Acclaimed independent builders Courchene Development Corp. (the Hamilton and St. James models) and Hasey Construction (the Bonair and Belize models) constructed the first four homes.
Named for the capital of Bermuda, Courchene's Hamilton reflects the traditional tropical style of the British-influenced island. Its one-story layout encompasses 5,080 sq. ft. under air and features four bedrooms, five full and one half-bath, a great room and media room, and a three-car garage. Interiors are crafted by Insignia Design.
"It's a clean, refreshing design that's very open and airy," says Paul Courchene, president and partner of Courchene Development Corp. "Oversized 12-foot-high motorized pocket doors open to the outside and lead to a free-form swimming pool."
Courchene's other model, the 5,129 sq. ft. under air St. James, is also a one-story residence with four bedrooms, five full and one half-bath, and a media room set away from the spacious living and family rooms. Inspired by the British West Indies, the St. James features a transitional interior by Insignia Design that takes advantage of the model's abundance of natural light. It also offers a three-car garage.
Hasey Construction's two-story, 5,275 sq. ft. under air Bonair showcases four bedrooms and five full and two half-baths. Its traditional great room plan includes a club room, theater and loft. Rogers Design Group created the interiors using light colors that imbue the space with an alluring informality. The model also features a three-car garage.
"The coastal architecture lends the Bonair a feeling that's more casual than might be expected," says Patrick Hasey, the company's director of sales and marketing. "Another huge draw is the panoramic view from the second floor overlooking the lake and the 11th tee of the Old Palm golf course."
Hasey's larger, 5,540 sq. ft. under air Belize is also two stories. Its more traditional layout features five bedrooms, six full and two half baths, a living room, family room, club room and loft. Decorators Unlimited designed the interiors to enhance the delightful coastal architecture. Like the other three models, the Belize boasts a three-car garage.
In 2013, Old Palm enjoyed record home sales totaling more than 40 transactions and $91 million. This represents a nearly 50% increase over 2012 revenues.
Interest remains high in the club's other three gracious and distinct neighborhoods (Golf Estates, Grand Estates and Custom Estates) with homes ranging from $1.3 to more than $15 million. Each offers new homes with special characteristics, designed and constructed by award-winning homebuilders to the most exacting of standards.
Located six miles from the Atlantic Ocean in one of the world's most golf-rich locales, Old Palm is the epitome of exclusivity with 316 home lots and 330 memberships. An extraordinary selection of homes is currently available in this sought-after niche of Palm Beach Gardens.

Wilson Staff Players Launch Retro Bags on Tour
(CHICAGO) - Tour stars including Padraig Harrington, Ricky Barnes and Kevin Streelman are set to unveil the new Wilson Staff Centennial Pro Tour bag to mark 100 years of outstanding Wilson Golf innovation – a period that has heralded an unrivalled number of Major victories with the company’s irons (61) and wedges (82).
The iconic red and white tour bag – which features the vintage Wilson Staff shield and retro branding – will be put into play this week by brand ambassadors on both the PGA and European Tours. Harrington, Streelman and Barnes will first showcase the special bag at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, while Paul Lawrie, Anthony Wall and newly-signed Marcel Siem will do the same at the Dubai Desert Classic.
“It’s an honor for me to represent the iron brand with more Majors, but it’s also an inspiration for me to add to the total Major wins,” said Streelman, who last year used his Wilson Staff FG Tour V2 irons and FG Tour TC wedges to champion the Tampa Bay Championship and finish runner-up in the prestigious Players’ Championship.
Wilson Staff’s tour stars will follow in the footsteps of Major-winning legends of the game like Gene Sarazen and Sam Snead, who used variations of the famous red bag in the past and served as advisory staff members throughout their careers.
“Wilson Golf has helped shape the game of golf with ground-breaking products endorsed by some of the sport’s greatest players,” said Tim Clarke, General Manager for Wilson Golf. “Our star players of 2014 are now looking forward to showing off the new Centennial bags on tour and commemorating 100 years of heritage and innovation.”
The vintage logos and retro designs will also characterize several exciting Wilson Staff products available for golfers to buy in the coming months. The DUO – one of the nation’s fastest selling golf balls last year and still the lowest compression option on the market – will come in a special retro pack with six individually gold-foil wrapped balls inside, designed to resemble the classic style from the 1950s.
Also featuring the special centennial branding will be Wilson Staff’s neXus carry bag – which has proven extremely popular since its launch in October last year – as well as a range of headwear, headcovers, a towel and umbrella.

Stable 26 Golf Socks for a Better Performance
(JANUARY) – The name – and founding philosophy – behind Stable 26 has its roots in the anatomy of the human foot. Housing 26 structural support bones, the foot is subject to countless injuries – especially for professional athletes. To fend off preventable injuries, Stable 26 socks were created to bridge the gap between athletes and their equipment, allowing for better fit, which ultimately leads to stronger stability and enhanced overall performance.
Founded by chiropractor Daryl Sherman, Stable 26 golf socks are made with silicone pads to customize fit for the individual wearer. Featuring contoured elastic arch support and a hand-linked seamless toe to reduce friction, Stable 26 technology eliminates negative space between a golfer's foot and his footgear, allowing for increased comfort, fit, and stability.
Designed with elite athletes in mind, Stable 26 offers quality Golf, Hockey, Ski and Running socks. Used by countless professionals, including official spokesperson Erik Karlsson of the Ottawa Senators and Golf Coach Henry Brunton, Stable 26 socks allow your shoe, boot, or skate to do what it’s designed to do.
“I have had the opportunity to be fitted with a pair of Stable 26 specialty socks for golf and used them for several rounds. I am extremely impressed. They are more comfortable than the socks that I normally wear, but more importantly, there is a significant performance advantage with them. Stable 26 footgear for golf makes my shoes fit better. They give me more stability and confidence to swing my best,” said Brunton.

Go longer with Nike’s New VRS Covert 2.0 irons
Repositioned center of gravity and large face area deliver more distance, better feel
(BEAVERTON, Ore.) – “If it’s good enough, then we must make it better.” - Cindy Davis, President of Nike Golf.
That approach is rooted in every product crafted at The Oven, Nike Golf’s research and design facility, and the new VRS Covert 2.0 irons, available January 31, are no exception. Golf club engineers and designers built upon the performance benefits of the first generation of Covert irons and improved specific design elements in the 2014 model to make it easier for golfers to hit the ball farther and higher with superior stability and feel.
“What’s impressive about the VRS Covert 2.0 set is that golfers can be aggressive and confident with these irons,” says Chris Savage, Nike Golf Irons Innovation Engineer. “This set utilizes our largest cavity and thinnest perimeter to deliver higher ball speed and greater distance. We have also refined our leading edge bevel to make it easier for these irons to go through the turf. Throughout development, these irons have proven to be the best distance irons we have created to date.”
The Nike Golf club team shifted the center of gravity behind the center of the face, which provides a more solid impact where golfers hit the ball most, resulting in more distance with great feel. Nike’s club engineers also lowered the center of gravity by modifying the mass in the back of the club head and shifting that weight lower and more towards the toe for a higher and more stable ball flight.
A larger cavity in the VRS Covert 2.0 irons moves more metal to the perimeter of the club head and allows for a larger face, which amplifies the 'trampoline effect’ and produces more ball speed at impact. Coupled with a larger cavity, Nike’s proprietary NexCOR variable face thickness technology allows for greater ball speed off the face, resulting in more distance.
A new leading-edge bevel provides more sole area to hit through the turf. The design delivers an additional, effective bounce to the golf club, which is a crucial benefit especially in soft conditions.
The VRS Covert 2.0 irons feature Dynalite 105 steel and Kuro Kage graphite shafts with Golf Pride 2G wrap grips.

Product Review: Nike Golf Hyper Adapt Wind Jacket
Staying warm when the wind starts to howl is no issue ... just put on a sweater or coat. Problem solved. Same dilemma, but throw in the want/need to post a decent score on the golf course? Now we’re talking about possible trouble.
The Hyper Adapt Wind Jacket from Nike Golf has you covered.
No more worries about feeling constricted, because the half-zip Hyper Adapt jacket allows for a natural range of motion through 18 holes, while featuring a transparent nylon construction and stretch panels for protection against the elements. A mesh panel in back delivers breathability, while an adjustable hem creates a customized fit.
The body of the jacket is made from 100 percent nylon. The mesh is 100 percent polyester. Side zip pockets and windproof fabric make the Hyper Adapt jacket both practical and functional. Being from Nike Golf, you know it’s stylish.
You probably carry anywhere from $1,000-$2,000 of equipment and may have dropped an additional $50 on golf balls. Start griping about being cold with no jacket or - even worse - a jacket that restricts your swing, and your expensive equipment won’t stop your game from going south. When the wind begins to blow, you’ll appreciate the $100 you spent on the Hyper Adapt jacket.
Product Features
* Mock neck that zips up to the chin for warmth
* Mesh panel in back for ventilation
* Translucent fabric and contrast panels for style
* Adjustable hem and stretch cuffs for enhanced fit

Past, Present NGA Tour players Flood NEC Series
Fourteen 2013 NGA Tour Pro Series Members make the cut at NEC Series Sebring Qualifier
(Sebring, Fla.) - The second full season of the PGA Tour Latinoamerica season begins this year but first the newly titled NEC Series had to hold its stateside qualifier to determine the players for this season's tour. The qualifier, held at Sun N Lake Golf Club in Sebring, Fla. Jan. 21 through 25 (the event ran into Saturday due to frost delays and tee time issues), was the second of two qualifiers held by the NEC Series and the only one held in the United States.
Twenty full status memberships were handed out Saturday with another 31 earning conditional status. Among those earning full status onto this year's tour are 2013 NGA Tour Pro Series members Adam Long, Chase Narramore, Rick Cochran III, Erik Barnes, and Stephan Jaeger.
Long out of Lake St. Louis, Missouri finished in solo second while Narramore (Kingston, Tenn.) and Cochran (Paducah, Ken.) finished in a tie for 11th. Barnes (Cape Coral, Fla.) and Jaeger (Chattanooga, Tenn.) were tied for 16th. Cochran made news two years back by finishing in the final four of the Golf Channel's popular Big Break Greenbrier tv show. Narramore is known to NGA Tour fans as the 2012 Savannah Lakes Village Classic Champion in 2012. Jaeger joined the NGA Tour after a stellar collegiate career at UT Chattanooga where he earned All-Nicklaus Team Honors.
A couple of NGA Tour Winter Series members from this year also earned full status; Robert Rohanna (Naples, Fla.) T6 and Charlie Harrison (Atlanta, Ga.) T16. Rohanna grabbed a win on the Winter Series at Harmony Golf Preserve earlier this season. Other NGAers to earn full status were 2012 NGA Tour Pro Series member Peter Campbell, who earned medalist honors, 2012 NGA Tour participant Will Coleman, 2011 NGA Tour Pro Series member Diego Velasquez, 2013 NGA Tour players Andrew Mason and Sean Jacklin.
2014 NGA Tour Pro Series member and UC Davis star, Austin Graham out of Newport Beach, Cal., grabbed the top spot on the conditional membership list followed by 2013 NGA Carolina Series member Casey Johnson, and 2013 NGA Tour Pro Series members Kent Bulle, Paul Apyan, Michael Schachner, and Kevin Roy. 2009 NGA player Charlie Ford also finished near the top giving NGA alumni the top 7 conditional status spots. These seven should receive plenty of opportunities to compete on the NEC Series throughout the season.
Other NGA Tour alumni receiving conditional status include 2013, 2014 NGA Tour Pro Series member Mitchell Gregson (36th), 2012 NGA Tour Pro Series member Robbie Greenwell (39th), 2013 NGA Tour Pro Series members Barrett Kelpin (42nd), Kyle Morris (44th), Chase Carroll (46th), and Ben Klaus (50th). 2012 NGA Tour Pro Series member and 2010 US Amateur runner-up David Chung finished 43rd while 2009 NGA Tour player Bryan Bigley grabbed the last spot at 51st.
These 27 professionals join fellow NGA Tour alums who qualified onto the NEC Series a week earlier in Peru including 2013 NGA Tour Pro Series members James Vargas and Daniel Mazziotta, who both earned full status, and Eric Atsma, who earned conditional status.

TaylorMade-adidas Golf Tour Staff Player Sergio Garcia wins Qatar Masters
Garcia Wins with TaylorMade SLDR Driver, Tour Preferred MC Irons and adidas Golf adizero one footwear
(CARLSBAD, Calif.) – TaylorMade-adidas Golf Tour Staff Professional Sergio Garcia birdied six of the last 12 holes and won the Qatar Masters in a 3-hole playoff for his second victory in three events.
Sergio wore adidas Golf apparel and footwear and played a full bag of TaylorMade equipment including the SLDR driver.
On a week when TaylorMade staff professionals wore “Loft Up” hats, Sergio played his SLDR gamer a full degree of loft more than his previous driver to take advantage of the low-spinning performance of the club. Because of the low and forward design of SLDR, tour players across the world have been “lofting up” to achieve the desirable high launch and low spin performance off the tee. Sergio ranked No. 5 in driving distance averaging 299.6 yards and was one of 29 players in the Qatar Masters field who played a SLDR.
Known as one of the best ball strikers in the game, Sergio also hit 75% of his greens with his new Tour Preferred MC irons. This was the second time in three events Sergio has played and won with the MC irons, which combine a player’s shape with a shallow “muscle cavity” to boost MOI, creating an unparalleled blend of beauty, feel, workability and stability. The 3- through 7-iron incorporate TaylorMade’s renowned Speed Pocket technology to promote increased ball speed in the lower portion of the clubface for more consistent ball speed and launch conditions across the entire face.
Sergio also wore adidas Golf apparel and footwear including the new adizero one, which launched this week on Tour. The adizero one is the lightest cleated performance golf shoe in the adidas Golf footwear arsenal weighing less than 10 ounces. A visually appealing design that provides maximum performance features a unique center traction cleat utilizing CenTraXion technology for ultimate grip while maintaining stability throughout the swing.
The win represented the 11th European Tour title and Sergio’s 25th worldwide. He also won his final event of 2013, the Asian Tour's Thailand Golf Championship in Bangkok. Sergio is expected to move into the Official World Golf Ranking's top 10.
In Sergio’s Winning Bag:
* SLDR driver 9.5° (Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana 100-x)
* SLDR fairway 15.5° (Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana 100-x)
* SLDR fairway 18.5° (Mitsubishi Rayon Diamana 100-x)
* Tour Preferred MC irons (3-PW)
* ATV wedges 50° & 58°
* Spider Mallet prototype putter

* adidas Golf Inertia glove

Veritas Golf Hitting It Big at 61st Merchandise Show
New putter company signs first accounts & even Donald Trump paid a visit to booth 800
(Flagler Beach, FL) - All it took was a live interview on The Golf Channel's Morning Drive to drive home the Cure Putters message: Veritas Golf has invented the game changer. Having Charlie Rymer and Deane Beman, former PGA TOUR Commissioner, co-inventor and now Vice President of Tour Relations for Veritas Golf, discuss the benefits of the world's first fully-adjustable putter caused a wave of traffic and is resulting in the company's first sales to green grass shops. Even Donald Trump stopped by to visit with Commissioner Beman and to see the virtues of the RX line of Cure Putters. Veritas launched The Cure RX1 and RX2 Putters at today the 61st PGA Merchandise Show.
Among the many new accounts opened today with Veritas Golf is Golf Fore Less of Hyannis, MA. Edward Czerwinski, owner of Golf Fore Less rolled the Cure RX2 putter for the first time at Demo Day on Tuesday and less than 24 hours later he was at the Veritas booth (#800) placing an order for his shop.
Said Mr. Czerwinski, "Based on my demo day experience the stability of the putter was amazing, the alignment was good and easy, and the distance control was repeatable." He continued, "For my customers this is going to reduce their three putts, and help on long putts. I'm going to sell a lot of these."
Thomas Wartelle bought two putters off the floor through the company's website, one for himself and one for his eight year-old son. "I felt the ease of alignment and adjustability would sell well for my members. For my son, and juniors at our clubs, being able to simply change out the shafts without having to buy new heads will provide tremendous value. Wartelle is Director of Golf at Jackson Kearney Group in Washington, LA.
Said Veritas CEO, James P. McCarthy, "We are like Cinderella at the ball. We know we have a revolutionary new putter, and the overwhelming reception so far confirms that we in fact have the game changer. He continued, "Even Donald Trump walked into the booth to get fit with the Commissioner earlier. We are thrilled with the early sales and looking forward to the rest of the golf world joining the revolution."
Some other notable clubs and shops signing on with Veritas Golf include:
• Sawgrass Country Club of Ponte Vedra Beach, Fl
• Golf Shoes Plus of Fort Myers, Fl
• Trump International Golf Club, Rio Grande, PR
Founded by PGA Professional, Jeff Ryan, and partner Steve Davis, an architect with a scratch handicap, the Veritas Golf Company has invented what Beman has called "the most technologically advanced putters ever made." The first putter invented by Davis, the Cure Rx1 putter, represented a breakthrough in putter engineering from several perspectives. Based on the highest MOI face in the industry, adjustable lie angles, customizable weights, right or left hand adjustable, and a few others, Beman says "the Rx1 made every other putter obsolete."
Beman and Davis took that science-based philosophy one step further to develop the revolutionary Cure Rx2 Putter, which incorporates the eye-popping triangulation alignment system developed by Beman. This stunning new putter is simply easier to align than traditional linear alignment putters. The ball forms the "point" of a triangle with the two alignment discs on the heel and toe of the putter. This triangle can be easily, naturally and dependably aimed on the line of the putt. Combined with all the features of the RX1, the Cure Rx2 Putter Triangulation Alignment system is the cure for misalignment.
The Cure RX Putters are now available online through the Veritas Website (www.cureputters.com), and will be available at green grass and big-box stores immediately following the PGA Merchandise Show. The RX1 retails for $199 and the RX2 retails for $269.
About Veritas Golf Company: Veritas Golf is an engineering-based company, thinking outside the box and producing innovative golf equipment that is "Engineered To Perform."
Cure Putters can be found on the web at cureputters.com, on Facebook at www.facebook.com/VG1putter and Twitter at @cureputters.

About the Folds of Honor Foundation:
Folds of Honor Foundation was founded in May 2007 by Major Dan Rooney, a former F-16 Fighter Pilot in the Oklahoma Air National Guard, PGA Professional, and USGA member. A decorated military pilot in the Oklahoma Air National Guard, Major Rooney has served three combat tours in Iraq. It was after his second tour, while a passenger on a commercial flight, that he witnessed an event that would profoundly change his life. As the plane landed, the pilot announced, “Ladies and gentlemen, we have an American hero on board – Corporal Brock Bucklin. And his twin brother, Corporal Brad Bucklin, is accompanying him home from Iraq. As a sign of respect, please remain seated while Corporal Bucklin’s family receives him in his final homecoming.” Major Rooney watched through the window of the plane as the flag-draped casket was lowered. He saw a family waiting for Brock, and a little four-year old boy waiting for his father. This tragic homecoming inspired Major Rooney to create the Folds of Honor Foundation. That four-year old boy, Jacob, is the first Folds of Honor recipient of a Folds of Honor scholarship.

RST Technology SeeMore's patented RST, known by a visible gun sight on the top line, allows the golfer to set up the putter perfectly each and every time in relation to the intended target line. This is accomplished by lining up the black bottom portion of the shaft between two white lines and covering a signature red dot on the heel of the top line. The process is like locking radar onto a target. The two parallel white sight lines frame the shaft and serve as an indicator that the golfer is in perfect position to make a consistent and reliable stroke.
SeeMore Facts SeeMore originally became recognized when Payne Stewart won the 1999 U.S. Open playing a SeeMore putter in the greatest final round putting performance in US Open History. The brand was re-launched in 2007, and immediately regained worldwide prominence as Zach Johnson used a SeeMore FGP to win the 2007 Masters. SeeMore's website at www.seemore.com and www.seemoreputtersblog.com has many new features about SeeMore's remarkable legacy, technology, and tour success. Stable 26 Socks Promise Athletes Better Fit for a Better Performance
The name - and founding philosophy - behind Stable 26 has its roots in the anatomy of the human foot. Housing 26 structural support bones, the foot is subject to countless injuries - especially for professional athletes. As a chiropractor, founder Dr. Daryl Sherman understands how injuries come about, and the importance of wearing quality footgear to reduce foot trauma. Having worked with countless professional athletes throughout the course of his career, Sherman created Stable 26 to bridge the gap between athletes and their equipment, allowing for better fit, stability and overall comfort.
Using only the most durable and breathable products, Sherman's socks are made with ergonomic nylon and silicone pads for added arch support, reduced friction and maximum ventilation. "With all the added pressure to perform, athletes shouldn't have to worry about their footgear. It's simple science, and it works," said Sherman.
Designed with elite athletes in mind, Stable 26 offers quality Golf, Hockey, Ski and Running socks. Used by countless professionals, including official spokesperson Erik Karlsson of the Ottawa Senators and Golf Coach Henry Brunton, Stable 26 socks allow your shoe, boot, or skate to do what it's designed to do.
"I have had the opportunity to be fitted with a pair of Stable 26 specialty socks for golf and used them for several rounds. I am extremely impressed. They are more comfortable than the socks that I normally wear, but more importantly, there is a significant performance advantage with them. Stable 26 footgear for golf makes my shoes fit better. They give me more stability and confidence to swing my best," said Brunton.

PING launches hot-faced, multi-metal Rapture 3-wood as driver alternative
(PHOENIX) – PING unveiled the 13-degree Rapture 3-wood for golfers looking for a versatile driver alternative or hotter-faced 3-wood. The multi-material, adjustable design combines a Ti 8-1-1 titanium body, high-strength beta-titanium face and dense tungsten sole plate for increased ball speed and lowered spin, leading to more distance and accuracy.
The Rapture 3-wood is now available for pre-ordering from PING-authorized golf shops.
“The weighting properties of titanium and tungsten provide our engineers a lot of opportunities to improve performance,” said John A. Solheim, PING Chairman & CEO. “The high-strength beta-titanium material allowed us to really focus on creating a hotter face that yields ball speeds and distance unlike any we’ve seen in fairway woods. The tungsten positions the weight extremely low so we can optimize the CG position. It has a taller face and deeper head profile, so golfers will have complete confidence with the Rapture. We think golfers will really appreciate this unique combination of technology to improve their performance. It’s extremely long off the tee. We’re excited to get it in golfers’ hands.”
A tall, extreme-variable-thickness face made of high-strength beta titanium (30% stronger than standard titanium) enlarges the hitting surface for increased forgiveness while accelerating ball speed to generate distance. Almost 25% of head mass is isolated in the tungsten sole plate, which positions the CG much lower in the Ti 8-1-1 head, further improving energy transfer for higher ball speed and less spin. The matte-black 219cc head has a deep profile for inspiring confidence. The standard 13 degrees of loft can easily be adjusted plus or minus ½ degree using PING’s Trajectory Tuning technology. The lightweight adjustable hosel has the same outer diameter and mass of PING’s traditional fixed hosels and provides the benefits of adjustability without sacrificing the performance that’s often lost in clubs with larger hosel designs.
PING’s proprietary TFC 949 graphite shaft promotes an increase in momentum and inertia for improved energy transfer, resulting in faster ball speeds and greater distance. Solheim said his company’s unique high-balance-point shafts have been key contributors to maximizing performance in its drivers and fairway woods. “In the TFC 949, for example, its high balance point enabled us to engineer a standard length of 43½ inches while increasing the mass of the head. With the same amount of effort, the golfer will be able to deliver a lot more power.”
Technical specifications:
- Cast Ti 8-1-1, 13º head
- High-strength, extreme variable-thickness SSAT2041 beta titanium face
- Metal injection-molded tungsten sole plate
- Lightweight Trajectory Tuning Technology hosel (loft adjustable plus/minus ½º)
- Matte-black crown finish eliminates glare to improve focus
- Standard length: 43½ inches
- Stock graphite shaft: TFC 949 (R, S, X flexes) with chrome PVD finish
- U.S. MSRP: $495
The Rapture 3-wood is now available for pre-ordering from PING-authorized golf shops.
