AHEAD to Unveil ’14 Apparel Collections at PGA Expo in Las Vegas

New performance groups, plus bold, bright color options headline array of offerings

(NEW BEDFORD, Mass.) – When AHEAD unveils its 2014 apparel collections for its AHEAD and Kate Lord brands later this month at the PGA Expo in Las Vegas, it marks another company milestone as it introduces new performance products and bold new colors, while adding innovative styling and detailing to its existing and popular offerings.

“Each season we strive to technically push the envelope and stay on course with our competition, which again we have achieved,” said Bill Godden, AHEAD’s director of apparel and headwear.  “In our continuing dedication to stay true to who we are, our 2014 collections will feature classic, quality products at affordable prices.”

Headlining AHEAD’s 2014 apparel group is the debut of a Thermal Regulation Collection.  Engineered to help maintain optimum body temperature (whether hot or cold), and made of the finest yarns and fabrication techniques, this performance collection will feature three polo options: Heathered Solid Polo, Multi-Stripe Polo and Mini-Gradient Auto Stripe Polo.  Available colors include ruby, papaya, shamrock and oasis blue.  The collection also will introduce a Full-Zip Soft Shell Vest plus a Heather Half- Zip Pullover.

In keeping with AHEAD’s reputation for offering innovative ornamentation techniques, the company is offering some creative logo placement options as part of its 2014 Outerwear Collection.  Just two examples are options for logos to be placed within the stripes on the arms of either the Color-block Pullover or the Polyester Half-Zip Pullover.  In that same collection, AHEAD is introducing a new V-Neck Softshell Performance Wind vest as well as a Short Sleeve Half Zip SoftShell Performance Windshirt.

For the golfer who likes to arrive at the course in bold, bright colors, AHEAD’s 2014 Performance Collection doesn’t disappoint.  Several new polo offerings will debut, and are available in vibrant colors including red, chili, sunkist, yellow, kelly green, sea salt, oasis blue and pink.

AHEAD’s Kate Lord Women’s Collection

The Kate Lord 2014 Collection will deliver a blend of modern styling coupled with innovative details and performance that promises to seamlessly take women from the golf course to the clubhouse to dinner in style.

Featuring a variety of polos, quality outerwear and well-fitting bottoms, combined with fresh color palettes and refined, classic silhouettes that fit both the active and casual lifestyle, the Spring ’14 Kate Lord collection should be a wardrobe staple.

Three new 2014 collections, all hand selected by the design team, are being introduced for 2014 – Lenox, Geneva and Calypso.  The trendy color palettes are hot pink, pewter, black heather and white for the Lenox Collection; lavender, azul, boysenberry and white for the Geneva Collection; and celadon, tiger lily, navy, canary and white for the Calypso Collection.

Three new polyester items will debut in ’14 as part of the Kate Lord outerwear collection:
* Full Zip Brushed Fleece Ruched Jacket. Colors include hot pink and celadon.
* Quilted Full Zip Vest.  Colors include hot pink and boysenberry.
* Full Zip Streak Windjacket.  Colors available are silver and black.

The entire Spring/Summer ’14 collection includes performance, sun protection, bottoms, sweaters, outerwear, T-shirt, and hat-and-tee combinations.
