Product Review: ClubCrown

You can customize just about everything in golf - balls, grips, tees, bags, etc. Your driver can go from open to closed, 9.5 to 11.5 degrees of loft, or even weighted on the heel, center or toe. Until recently, however, it was going to look like it did when it left the factory. Enter ClubCrown.

The Ohio State University
ClubCrown is a semi-permanent adhesive that allows you to personalize the crown of your driver, fairway woods and hybrids. For a certified installer, it’s as easy as changing your grips.

Want to support your favorite college team? ClubCrown has multiple options from 30 universities (and counting). Want to show some national pride? Select one of the many flags ranging from the United States and Canada to Korea and Venezuela. Heck, hardcore golfers from the Lone Star State can wave their flag. Animal prints, argyles, military logos, tropical designs ... the choices are seemingly endless.

As you read this, the company is working to perfect a powerful tool to its website that will allow golfers to fully customize their ClubCrown. Imagine being able to put a corporate logo, monogram or pictures of your children on your club.

ClubCrowns can be purchased from golf retailers, professional golf shops and online at www.ClubCrown.com. To start the process, locate a nearby certified installer HERE. It only takes about 10-15 minutes to transform your club from uninspired to eye-popping.

ClubCrowns make old clubs look new and helps new clubs look new longer - protecting your club from the dreaded sky mark and regular usage nicks. Made in the USA, ClubCrown conforms with USGA rules and is available for both left-handed and right-handed players. It adds 2 grams, which is roughly 1 percent of your club head weight.

Our take? ClubCrown is an exciting addition to the golf industry. We chose to support our beloved Ohio State Buckeyes, but you can do just about anything you want with your club. It’s easy to waste 30 minutes looking at the options ... without even seeing them all. When standing on the first tee, let your driver do the talking before your game gets in the way.
