Exotics XCG6 Fairway Woods Declared One of the 'Best Fairway Woods on the Planet'
(Batavia, IL) – Introduced to the market in January of this year, the XCG6 fairway wood has earned rave reviews from players around the globe and ranked exceptionally high in independent test results.
Right out of the gates the XCG6 fairway wood solidified itself among the best with a 2013 Hot List Silver award from Golf Digest.
This summer, the fairway wood also earned a “Top Performer” distinction in the 2013 Edwin Watts Golf “ClubSmarts Report.” The new report, which serves as the centerpiece of Edwin Watts Golf’s first-of-its-kind Advanced Robot Certified (ARC) Club Matching System, features performance data from scientific robot testing of golf clubs that highlights the playability attributes.
Recently, GolfWRX.com conducted a 2013 Best Fairway Metals test and selected five top-ranked fairway woods stating, “We surveyed six of the top-ranked clubfitters in North America to identify the best fairway woods on the planet, which are longer, straighter and better looking than the fairway woods of the past.”
The XCG6 fairway wood was included in the short list. David Glod, president and founder, “I knew when the final designs were completed for the XCG6 fairways woods that they were going to be special. It’s a great feeling to know that so many independent testers are proving our testament that these are the longest fairway woods on the market. The technology that I used, the titanium cup face with a steel body and heavy tungsten sole plate clearly outperforms the competition.”
