Titleist Launches #MyTitleist Photo-Sharing Experience

New Interactive Experience Lets Users Share Golf-Inspired Moments, Enter Monthly Photo Contests and Connect with Fellow Golfers

(FAIRHAVEN, Mass.) – Providing a showcase for golf’s daily moments, Titleist announces the launch of #MyTitleist, an interactive photo-sharing experience for avid golfers and Titleist brand fans around the world.

#MyTitleist gives members of the Team Titleist community – from amateur golfers to PGA Professionals to Titleist Brand Ambassadors on the worldwide professional tours – the opportunity to share their passion for the game through their golf- and Titleist-inspired photos.

Golfers can quickly and easily upload their photos to the #MyTitleist experience via the www.titleist.com/mytitleist website. Users of the popular photo-sharing application Instagram also can participate by adding a #MyTitleist hashtag to their uploads.

Prior to one of his recent rounds on the PGA Tour, Rickie Fowler uploaded a picture of his Titleist Pro V1x golf ball, marked with an orange dot to the left of the Titleist script, with his signature phrase “#GOTIME” and the #MyTitleist hashtag.

“Golf is always providing us with exciting and special moments, whether it’s shooting your lowest score, hitting a great shot, or simply teeing it up with your family or friends,” said Mary Lou Bohn, Vice President, Titleist Golf Ball Marketing and Communications. “Golfers are always capturing these moments and sharing their photos with us through e-mails and social media. #MyTitleist gives them the opportunity to share that passion and creativity with golfers around the world.”

The #MyTitleist site provides golfers a user-friendly experience to share their photos, browse the #MyTitleist photo stream and enter monthly photo challenges for the chance to win Titleist prizes and see their photos posted to Titleist social media sites. One Team Titleist member recently uploaded an image he described as “Grandpa giving his 7-month-old grandson his first lesson.” Another member shared a family photo taken on the 18th tee of Pebble Beach Golf Links accompanied by the caption, “Priceless moment with my wife and son.”

Golfers are also using #MyTitleist to answer the question “How do you mark your Titleist?” by uploading pictures of their Titleist golf balls with their unique markings.

“Newest member of Team Titleist. #MySon #Jack #MyTitleist” was how one proud dad described his photo upload, featuring a personalized Titleist Pro V1x golf ball and custom-stamped Vokey Design SM4 wedge celebrating the birth of his son. The #MyTitleist PhotoStream is also full of new additions to players’ bags, including Titleist 913 drivers and fairway metals.

All user-submissions posted via Titleist.com or Instagram will include an image, the golfer’s Team Titleist username, a short description of the moment (140 characters or less) and a geo-location tag. To submit an image to #MyTitleist via Instagram, golfers must tag their photos with one of three hashtags: #mytitleist, #titleist or #teamtitleist.

#MyTitleist is the latest experience provided by Team Titleist, a community that connects avid golfers and brand enthusiasts with Titleist product experts, tour players and fellow Team Titleist members through a variety of exclusive online and offline experiences. Team Titleist members also have the opportunity to attend special events, provide their feedback in surveys and participate in R&D test panels, such as last year’s prototype testing for the new 2013 Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls.

No purchase is required to enter the monthly photo challenges, which are open to U.S. residents, age 18 and older. For more details and official rules, please visit www.titleist.com/mytitleist.
