Product Review: Antigua PRF-72
Merriam-Webster defines performance as “the execution of an action.” While that can be simple and less-than descriptive, Antigua has delivered at the top of the chart with its spring-summer line of performance golf shirts.
Quickly distinguished by its new palette of bright accent colors, this collection appeals to a wide range of demographics with both its men’s and women’s lines. For example, take a tried-and-true gray shirt with varying black lines that attracts the most traditional golfer and make it pop with bright orange stitching. Basic and extreme come together.
The collection looks incredible, but what about performance?
The cut and feel of the Performance-72 (PRF-72) are exquisite. Roomy under the arms, while not allowing excessive material to inhibit the swing. Antigua’s proprietary Desert Dry and Desert Dry Xtra-Lite moisture management technology keeps golfers cool and dry under the most uncomfortably hot conditions. No binding or sticking to disrupt a player’s game.
For the average golfer, trying to execute a quality swing is a challenge at any point during the round. That test is compounded as the round proceeds, sun is beating down and stakes increase. Don’t let your shirt be one more strike against you.
In other words, look at your apparel as another piece of equipment. You’ve chosen the ball that best fits your game, you can adjust just about anything on your driver and there’s a seemingly endless number of lofts to add to your wedge collection. Why put on any old golf shirt when you can enhance your playing experience with a performance brand?
American Golfer Recommendation: Looking for performance fashion golf apparel at its best? Take a look at Antigua’s spring-summer collection.
