Boxgroove Adds New Castle Country Club

(BELLEVUE, Wash.) - Boxgroove (www.boxgroove.com), an inventive, reliable online network offering golfers the opportunity to play private golf courses of their choosing, has added New Castle Country Club, in New Castle, Pa., to the selection of private courses Boxgroove members can play.

"Boxgroove members won't want to miss the chance to play this historic course," said McRedmond Morelli, founder and CEO of Boxgroove. "Golfers will appreciate the tradition and beauty of New Castle Country Club."

New Castle Country Club is a private member-owned facility. Built in 1923 by famous golf-course architect A. W. Tillinghast, the New Castle Country Club golf course offers a challenge to all skill levels. This 18-hole layout remains largely unchanged since its creation. Throughout the decades, every effort has been made to maintain the character and beauty instilled in it by its designer. The 6,657-yard par-72 course long has been considered a hidden gem and one of the best courses in the area. The course rating is 70.3 with a slope rating of 129. On July 6, 2007, the New Castle Country Club golf course debuted on John Garrity's list of Top-50 Courses.

"Boxgroove has created a great opportunity to create additional revenues for our club," said Ned Weaver, PGA Director of Golf at New Castle Country Club. "The golf business has changed over the last five years, and smaller private clubs like ours are looking to fill tee times during slow times. I recommend Boxgroove to any club looking to increase its bottom line."
