Dixon Golf Ball Selected for Hole-in-One Challenge
(PHOENIX, AZ) - Each year thousands of golfers descend upon the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club to take their shot at the million dollar prize, and for the third year in a row Dixon Golf will be the official golf ball of the Wells Fargo Fiesta Bowl Million Dollar Hole-in-One.
The 28th Annual Wells Fargo Fiesta Bowl Million Dollar Hole-in-One will be contested from Nov. 1 to 11 at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club in Phoenix, Ariz.
"We applaud Dixon Golf's efforts to promote sustainability by recycling golf balls," Fiesta Bowl Board Chairman Steve Whiteman said. "We're pleased that the Wells Fargo Fiesta Bowl Million Dollar Hole-in-One can help promote this environmentally friendly initiative. Golfers will be impressed by these 'green' golf balls."
As is always the case with the eco-friendly golf ball manufacturer, recycling plays a prominent role in the event. Those who bring at least one dozen golf balls to recycle will get a free bag of golf balls at the Million Dollar Hole-in-One. Dixon Golf recycled more than 10,000 golf balls during last year's event.
"It's important for us to be an active part of the golf community, because helping charities is so important to us. But we wouldn't lend our golf balls to the event if we didn't feel Dixon Golf balls gives golfers the best chance at winning," said Dixon Golf CEO William Carey.
