Canadian Destination Marketing Company Chosen to Represent IAGTO in North America

(Toronto, ON) - Lakeview Productions Inc. - and its affiliate the Traveling Golfer - has been selected by the International Association of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO) to develop North American participation.

Currently IAGTO is 2035 members strong from 88 countries comprised of golf tour operators, resorts, tourist boards, hotels, golf courses, receptive operators, airlines, car rental agencies, approved media and business partners.  It is estimated that IAGTO Tour Operators are responsible for 85% of golf holiday packages sold worldwide, estimated to be valued at more than $1.5 billion annually.

This year’s convention will take place at the Marco Island Marriott Resort, Golf Club & Spa in Marco Island/Naples, Florida from June 26-29, 2013. The event will feature more than 100 golf tour operators from around the world.

We believe that there are several destinations and resorts within North America that would benefit from an IAGTO membership.”

Lakeview Productions Inc. will market IAGTO to prospective North American tourist boards, resorts, tour operators, meeting and incentive buyers and will provide sales, marketing and public relations support.

Destinations areas that are highly visible at IAGTO Conventions include: Arizona, California, Florida, Hawaii, Nevada, Mississippi, Pennsylvania, North and South Carolina. Of course Canada does have one active member in Golf PEI.
