Nike Athlete Russell Henley Secures his Second Web.com Tour Title

Win moves Henley into the Top 25 on the Web.com Money List

(BEAVERTON, Ore.) - Nike Golf athlete Russell Henley parred the first hole in a sudden-death playoff at the Chiquita Classic to capture his second Web.com Tour title and improve his chances to gain his 2013 PGA Tour card. He jumped from 35th on the Web.com money list to the 12th spot.

A former collegiate standout at the University of Georgia, Henley won with the help of 14 Nike Golf clubs in his bag, including the Nike VR_S driver, and Nike VR Pro Cavity (3, 5-6) and Nike VR Pro Combo irons (7-9). Henley also took advantage of Nike’s major-winning Polymetal Groove Technology found in his Nike Method 006 prototype putter. This distinctive putter technology provides a truer roll, which ultimately leads to greater confidence on the greens.

Henley also played with the Nike 20XI-X golf ball that features Nike’s innovative Resin Core Technology, a lighter, faster and more responsive core than rubber core technology. Resin core technology allows for less spin off the driver and more spin off the wedge, creating greater distance and control.

Henley recently joined Nike Golf along with seven other young rising stars, including Lee Bedford, Dylan Frittelli, Hunter Hamrick, Daniel Miernicki, JJ Spaun, Eugene Wong and Cheyenne Woods.
