Players Towel Named Official Towel of the 2011 U.S. and European Solheim Cup Teams
(Phoenix, AZ) - Players Towel, featuring high performance microfiber waffle technology, has been named the official towel of the 2011 U.S. and European Solheim Cup teams. The 2011 Solheim Cup will be contested Sept. 23-25 at Killeen Castle in Ireland.
"As the world's best players from the United States and Europe compete head to head on the biggest stage of women's golf, the one common denominator on both teams will be the Players Towel," said Patrick Le Vine, founder of the Players Towel.
The Players Towel has quickly become one of the most valuable pieces of equipment used on all the major tours and is recognized as the gold standard in debris and moisture removal for golfers and their equipment. "With the Cup being played in Ireland in late September, being able to keep one's hands and equipment dry and debris free will be critical to great shot making," stated Le Vine.
"The Players Towel has clearly demonstrated that it is the leading performance golf towel and the ultimate in absorption and protection from moisture and debris," said U.S. Captain Rosie Jones. "With so much riding on every shot, I want to give my players the best equipment possible to help eliminate uncontrolled variables and that is why we are outfitting the players with the Players Towel."
"We are proud to have been selected as the official towel of the United States and European Solheim Cup teams. With 16 wins and counting so far this year on the LPGA and PGA Tours, the Players Towel has been the clear choice for the world's best players and their caddies seeking the ultimate in a performance golf towel," added Le Vine. "Our selection as the official towel for both Solheim Cup teams reinforces the Players Towel as the leader in its category and a brand recognized by both players and golf's governing bodies as a premier, necessary piece of equipment."
