Golfers Can Play Dubsdread Like The PGA Tour Pros On Monday, Sept. 14

(LEMONT, Ill.) - Golfers who want to experience playing a course that is set up for the final round of a PGA Tour event will get that opportunity at Cog Hill's newly-renovated Dubsdread. The nationally-ranked course, which will host the 2009 BMW Championship Sept. 10-13, will be open for public play on Monday, Sept. 14 with the tournament's Sunday final-round pin placements.

Golfers will be able to compare their game to the best in the world. The BMW Championship is the third leg of four in the FedExCup Playoff Series. The top 70 players on the FedExCup point list are expected to play at Dubsdread for a purse of $7.5 million with the winner taking home $1.35 million.

"We are looking forward to a great week of championship golf and are excited to see how the players like the newly-renovated course," said Katherine Jemsek, president, Jemsek Golf. "We encourage golfers to come out and play Dubsdread on the Monday after the tournament. After watching spectacular shots from the tour pros all week, it will be a fun day to try some of their own."

Play on Monday, Sept. 14 will be a 1 p.m. shotgun start. Greens fee is $150 which includes cart, range balls and a laser range finder. To sign up, call 866.COG.HILL (866.264.4455).

Dubsdread will be closed Aug. 24-28 in preparation for the tournament. It will reopen Aug. 29-30 for one last chance for area golfers to play the course prior to the tournament. It will then be closed to the public until Monday, Sept. 14.

On Oct. 19-22, Dubsdread will set the pins in the same place as tournament week. On Monday, Oct. 19 (Sunday pins) Oct. 20 (Saturday pins) Oct. 21 (Friday pins) and Oct. 22 (Thursday pins).
