Salish Cliffs Golf Club Named ‘Best Golf Course’ by Casino Player Magazine

(SHELTON, Wash.) – Salish Cliffs Golf Club (www.salish-cliffs.com) – the Gene Bates-designed amenity at Little Creek Casino Resort, located a short drive from Olympia and Seattle – was named the Native Northwest’s “Best Golf Course” by Casino Player magazine.

Voted on by readers, the magazine’s 19th annual “Best of Gaming” survey also recognized Little Creek Casino Resort for “Best Promotions” and “Best Roulette” while naming Seven Inlets Spa the “Best Spa.” The full list of winners is found in the September issue of Casino Player.

“Having the region’s best gaming and golf properties adjacent to each other is a convenience our guests truly relish,” said Little Creek Casino Resort CEO Michael Starr. “It’s especially gratifying because this honor was decided by guests who have already experienced all that Salish Cliffs Golf Club and Little Creek Casino Resort have to offer.”

In addition to the first-place awards, the Squaxin Island Tribe owned and operated Little Creek Casino Resort also earned acclaim in nine other categories, including “Best Hotel Staff,” “Best Comps,” “Best Dealers” and “Best Blackjack.”

Celebrating 25 years as America’s most popular gambling magazine, Casino Player is a monthly publication providing gaming strategies and travel features. The highly anticipated “Best of Gaming” results are tallied over a three-month period and recognize the industry’s best destinations.

Since opening in 2011, Salish Cliffs Golf Club has collected numerous accolades. This month, the course was listed No. 4 on GOLF Magazine’s biennial “Best Courses Near You” by state rankings. It has also earned top-10 distinction on Golfweek’s “Best Casino Courses in America” and “Best Courses by State,” and was No. 55 on the magazine’s “Best Resort Courses in America” list.

Little Creek Casino Resort hosts Las Vegas-style electronic and table gaming, a variety of fine and casual dining options and 190 immaculate guest rooms and suites. Popular entertainment spaces include the state-of-the-art Skookum Creek Event Center and Skookum Cigar & Wine Bar.

Do you actually manage to profit that way? For me, that's way too risky, and I prefer something more reliable. My favorite one is rust because I'm a fan of survival games, but also, I like to make money, and as long as there's a feature to sell rust skins without any risks, I'll keep on playing this game.
